At least you guys can fly...

both my systems went down this weekend. :( Long story, but my MB is toast. Even found the burn spot. Thankfully a squadie is sending me a replacement for my Epox 8k7a MB. :) My son had a PIII 450 that went down also. Have not figured that out yet.

Sure miss flying in the CT. Hope to be back in a week or less.

So when you think about whining... think "it could be worse".

Feel for ya Dad. I just got mine fixed this weekend it's been down two months. Had too many other projects to take care of before the computer could be fixed. With 5 kids and all their needs one son in Iraq and another headed there in January , the computer pretty much was way down on the important issues list.

However last week my wife caught me making engine noises , and chasing her cat with a BB gun. All the sudden she thought maybe the new hard drive, and modem were a must for some reason.:D

Spoke too soon. It was the blasted power supply.  I fried the board Mak sent me. :( Watched it happen. Had the cover off and noticed a yellow light at the bottom of the board that I thought was some kind of indicator. At closer inspection  I realized it was a non-ending spark/flame with smoke. So much for board #2.

Going back to the local store today to exchange it and ask for a MB also. Wish me luck, because I seemed to have lost all mine.

Life goes on...
