Can't figure out what's really needed. BTW is it F5 in combination with F8? In any case it goes through all buildings/objects except terrain. Can you explain it in further detail please?

It's off by default.
You must enable it in the setup i.e. keyboard/joystick setup windows.

It's F5. You then use your throttle to control speed while holding down the appropriate joystick button(I think the default button is button 3). You have to hold down the button or it won't move. Buttons 1 and 2 will function as move backwards and look down modes.

I can't go through buildings in this mode. Which beta version are you using?

I'm using 1.993 Easyscor hit the nail on the head. I didn't have it enabled but you just answered my 2nd question, couldn't figure out how to turn

Got it working now so I'll post my results if any later.

My throttle only makes the camera fly backwards, and I can't find control settings to modify this. Can anyone help?

Again, it's in the setup. Set one button or key for forward and one for reverse. Rudder will turn and joystick is bank and pitch.

I tried setting keys for forward and reverse, but they never seem to work.

Edit: Okay, it works now, I had to restart the game after modifying the controls, oddly enough.
