I was thinking more along the lines of some of the earlier variants so we could get a few better turners in the game and increase the variety. I'm talking about stuff like the Spit V, C.202, Fw 190A-5, and the Bf 109F-4. A Fw 190F-8 would also be good for ground work. We'll have to wait a bit for most of the late war stuff as that could get a bit unbalancing at this stage of the game.

Ahh, so La-7 will be awhile then.  Well, it will be nice to see early-mid war planes too.  Besides, La-5FN does pretty good against these late war things.

Let me divert to 190 a little. Please, I am new to the plane, tell me what can I expect from A-5, compared to A-8.

I am especially interested in acceleration, climb, deck speed, roll and guns

Whose legs are you pulling, Hristo?

Seriously, I'd love to see an A5 modeled as it should be. Not the WB porked one. Far superior to the MkV and very similar in performance to the Merlin61 MkIX (up to 20K). Ah, probably it is only a dream ...

Hehe, Gatt, we are allowed to dream, aren't we. Not everyone's dream plane has blue nose though

leonid, I agree.
I just yesterday flew La-5 and I must say I was impressed (well, after C205, I think even C47 impresses me).
It climbs so damn good and is fast.2x20mm's are deadly.
Stalling could be fatal, but so in any plane I quess.
Could be that after coming familiar with La-5, my 205 will get quite much dust on it
