Yep that was taken in Yosemite. One of the most beautiful places I have ever scene. Price of housing sucks in CA but it's worth it for the views. :)

I'm an old Ford Guy.

1962 Ford Thunderbird.  Just bought her, just starting the restoration.  Decent beginning car, engine/tranny/suspension completely redone but not stock unfortunately.  Gonna have to dig up some stock engine components over time but right now the Edlebrock intake and carb make her run fine.

She had an engine fire a few years back (hence the new carb and intake) and if you look at the hood you can see where the fire burned through the paint.  I am going to get a new hood then.  Considering colors, wife doesn't like the red and I don't really care either way.  May go with a silver mink.

Other car.

1965 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe.  About 85% there, need to put in the new carpets, the new seat covers and get the bumper rechromed to make her complete-along with some fine touches.  289 4bbl, 3spd auto (C4), power steering.

Will probably modify her in the future with disc brakes, a new suspension, maybe a fuel injected 5.0 liter and a mustang 5speed when the old engine gets tired.  I just rebuilt the whole engine drivetrain so I suspect that will be a while.  I don't ever plan on getting rid of her so that is fine by me.
