You should be able to OC to 250FSB x4=1000 with no problem.

Mr. Black - how do you display that CPU information?  I have W2000 Pro...

Its very small and easy to use.

Also about mushkin they have a 2 week return policy if you dont like it or it dont work to spec you just ship it back to them for a full refund- shipping ofcoures.

No need to get ECC registered mem modules, this is only a requirement of the AMD Athlon64 FX51.

I'd go for Kingston HyperX memory personally, Mushkin, OCZ, and Corsair are all overpriced.  If you do plan on overclockin the HyperX does it very well.

As I said before, I wanted to get my parts from a local store, so since he won't touch Mushkin, I went with the Kingston Hyper-X, 1GB kit.

After reading a lot about all the different brands of RAM, I came to the conclusion that nobody can agree on which RAM is best. :)

The owner of the store said that if I didn't like the Kingston, I could return it and get a different brand.

I bought the Sonata case, the RAM, the P4 2.4 today, and the Abit IC7-Max3 is on order and should be here Wednesday or Thursday.

I ended up getting a 120mm Vantec Stealth case fan per Tom's Hardware complaints about the air flow performance of the Sonata with only the 1 exhaust fan that is included with the Sonata.
