So?

His campaign team is mainly Clinton advisors.

The Washington Post? Isn't that the left-wing commie pinko rag that spews nothing but lies and distortions?

Or, maybe there is no left-wing bias, afterall. ;)

They pick and choose their candidates they support. You can easily tell who they dislike for President by the articles they choose to run. ;)

Oh, and if you think there are no political agendas in some of our more leftist newspapers, I can give you plenty. ;)

If you actually read the WaPo article, it's not clear that Clark has violated FEC regulations.  The article itself is titled "Clark May Have Broken Law in Paid Speeches." Doesn't exactly imply the title of this thread, does it?  The Repugnant-can slime machine at work.

Uh huh....

Larry Noble, a former FEC general counsel who heads the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, said Clark's speeches are "problematic" because "the insertion of campaign-related items into his speech can turn it into a campaign speech." If so, the paid appearances would amount to "illegal contributions," Noble said.
............................. ...

Clark blasted Bush's Iraq policy and outlined how he would handle foreign affairs differently. During the Q&A that followed, Clark talked in detail about his qualifications and ideas for the presidency.

Uhhhhhh huh...

Have you been reduced to moaning and grunting in order to defend your posts?  My goodness man, get a hold of yourself.  Now explain exactly how what you quoted clearly establishes that Clark acted illegally.  Mr. Noble doesn't seem anywhere near as certain about this as you do.

I was under the impression that Q&A was audience-driven, whereas campaign speechs are speaker-driven.

If an audience member asked for an opinion, and the audience member paid to attend, wouldn't the speaker have an obligation to answer the question?
