I'm not complaining but I have a suggestion.  Those tank runs are really great for a ground fight but it seems to me that it's way too easy to bring in air cover.  Almost invariably I'm seeing more aircraft jaboing than gv's being jabo'ed.  It kinda takes away from the rolling gv battles that make this much greater than the other maps.  I know some folks like to play one way and I like to play my way.. yadda yadda..  but it seems a common request that the large battles that go on stand a chance at being something more than a high alt bomb fest.  Btw, one more thing, any chance of rearm pads on some/all of the gv bases?

I requested the ability to setup gv bases with multiple hangars so that gv fights may continue.

as for rearm pads? sorry no that would be cheesy to have a aircraft land at the front line of a ground war get ammo and bombs and takeoff :) sure it  happened a few times but nah. just be that many more planes in gv bases.

I would suggest a few counter spawns for the gvs. As it is, everything spawns in a straight line. Makes all the gv fights pretty much the same. Counter spawns would allow for some flanking attacks.

Fester he may be right on those multiple spawns.....


too many freackin easy jabo dweebs come and ruin an excellent gv battle.....

lost 4 Tigers...not to gv's.....but jabo's only.

I admit to doing my share of jabo dweeb when map first came out, then I took to loading up with gas and hunting the other teams jabo dweebs and that was more fun.

i dont mind the jabos going to the vbases... hell jabos will climb 20k mountains and fly 75 miles+ to get gv targets. thats why htc added the osti and m16.


what i do mind is one jabo dork wiping out the gv war with 2 1k bombs.

if htc adds multiple gv hangar code im putting it into the vbases just like airfields with more hangars at more important vbases.

sure after multiple hangars are added they could still bomb em all but it would take a team of jabos to do it.


as far as jabos plinking tanks... hell i love jaboing them too. its a place to take yer il2 and run it up the whole gv base valley front and plink away.

been plinked by jabos in my tiger, grin and bear it roll again its more fun with the variety of lead in the air that jabos bring just keep in mind things will be better for vehicles in ah2 with more cover.

A fair arguement Fester.  I don't mind air cover but what I'm saying is it's turning more into a jabo fest than a place where we can see a real ground war like the first few days which was really nice.  Often the jabo/dweeb bombers outnumber the gv's.  Beyond tank town there was no other place with 20 on 20 vehicle fights.  And tank town was mostly a camp fest.   Not sure what to say beyond I'd like to see some more great tank battles.  What about having an small airfield right next to each vh with only il'2, ju87 and a few other ground attack craft enabled?  Along with higher mountains or further airbases it might discourage more of the dweeberyand base pork a thons.  Dunno, something to ponder.

i tried in a test run multiple gv hangars and multiple carriers but will try again because i didnt copy the vh extras just the vh hangar. ditto on cv once ship000 cv knocked out all fligth disabled and respawns in 15 or whatever min.

once the vh0 is killed the rest apear still up but they do not allow gvs to spawn... says you are unable to fly your plane from that field.

will test it out again

sorry HT thats a negative on the Vhangar test.

tried it on airfields and v fields. when 1 vhangar is destroyed they all explode and flight is disabled

they all go up when any one of them is destroyed but only vhh000 smokes lol
