Got hooked on European style pizzas and I mean they put all kinds of funky watermelon on theirs.  Just couldn't get over having tuna on mine so i stuck with wehatevr else we tried.

Shepard's Pie pizza:

Thin crust with a layer of pizza suuce on the bottom, then mashed taters layered on top with a broad spreading knife.  Ground beef or venison sprinkled throughout as a topping.  Bake it 'til the taters are browned over on top.  Maybe add some jalapenos for flavor.

Never had a pizza like that before, but sounds like it would be good.  Any pizza makers out there?

Replace all that pineapple with the goodness of sausage and you may come close to having a real pizza.  Save the fruit for dessert.


PS- at the minimum, your pizza should be at least an inch thick, most of that toppings and cheese.

When I worked at a pizza parlor in college, our specialty was pepperoni.  We would put a jap slice under each peperoni slice for people we didn't like.

There was a pizza place in my home town called "Gay90's". (This was before the name had homosexual connotations). Anyway a "Special" was a Pepperoni, Onion and CASHEW pizza. It was delicious.
