Why? I think we get more than our fair share of insults from your country on a regular basis. It's not that I hate Canada, been there many times, dated a Quebecoise for a while too, its just that I don't understand the anti-Americanism I have experienced from our neighbors to the North. It wasn't meant as an insult to Canada per se, only to those that are very touchy and seem to harbor ill will towards my country for no real good reason. For someone to call me a "tard" because I pointed out something positive coming from my country is an insult to me but I didn't take it as serious as some of you Maple heads.

I dont harbour any ill thoughts towards the US, except the president of course. :p

If some of them give you hate, then just ignore them.
Insult matches remind me of school playground.

Those of you here who made this issue into a breast beating, flag waving political point should be ashamed of yourselves.
This is a human story and unless you had some hand or part in the operation you cannot claim any credit for your country or your state, your idealogy or yourself.

Those kids are not out of danger yet.

Only the doctors and the charitable organisation involved can take credit for this. Just be glad you live in a country that has the facilities and expertise to carry out such an operation. That you can be be thankful for.

You know, not everything has a political connotation least of all the life and death of two children.  Juvenile, schoolyard jibes are immature and stupid. Grow up lads.
