Furious maybe they've implemented the ability to change gears while in the turret position.  With having your mph and rpm there you'd be able to determine whether or not to up/down shift.  It'd be nice to have implemented so you dont' have to jump back and forth from driver to gunner to change gears.  not realistic but still nice option.

Hope that fence can be ridden over (thru or other simulation), not like the titanium bushes of back then.

It looks like the view distance has increased.

The new horizon/sky has a hue closer to red, to subconsciously mellow the players?

Too bad the M3 textures weren't increased in size like the spitfire's was (the gun top is still that blurry).

Red is the colour of anger, on the other hand blue is the mellow out colour. Which is why people who look at the sky all day always seem happy.

P.S. Hitech, could you please post a image inside the factorie!?

Ummm ..... horizon fade and "fog of war" are two different things, fyi. The "fog" effect is distance mimicking. "Fog of war" is the confusion people in combat go through in battle. Just sayin'. :D

Even the quality of the current AH is better than what HT has shown in that screen shot. My guess would be that he took the screen shot and converted it to jpg to reduce the size and the conversion also reduced the quality.

I saw AH II at the con and take my word for it ... that screen shot does it no justice, and the graphics is far better than what we see now.

The RPM and PreSetRPM indicators, I would presume are for debugging purposes. When HT demonstrated the Osty at the con, those displays were not there.

Slap! Shhhh ... let `em rant. It's what they want to do. Nevermind the apparent subtlety of the joke HT was delivering in the screenshot. They can't see the forrest for the obsessive compulsive disorder that drives them to measure the pixels in the screenshot. :D

Doh! You're right.  That's why it looks like the game needs anti-alias.

There is no forest, and there's no trees either for that matter.

I'm betting the next screen shot will be in that compound.
