Every once in awhile while trying to close the map using the esc. key my computer will lock-up. Not just a minor program lock-up, this is bad enough to have to hold the power button down and do a total reboot. Seems to happen more while in a manned ack or ship gun. I am running (don't laugh) a P3 700Mhz, 128MB Ram, Vodoo 3 16MB Ram, and Win2k Pro. You know I almost dont mind the 20 fps some times

Hey -

Spend about 100 clams and update your video card. I used to run a p3 700 with a gf1 annhilator pro card (32 MB) and averaged 40-60 FPS.

Probably will help with your lockups as well.

I will be updating...but I don't have AGP on this computer...so I am just gonna wait and get em all done. Just really wondering if this happens to anyone else.

Don't feel bad I'm runnin a t 500 Mhz on win 98.

But I did just get a radeon 9600 pro. frame rate still at 20 or so, must be cpu limited.

Yes flayd, you are very CPU limited. To get the most from that video card, you would need a 1.8Ghz or faster CPU.

zorster, your video card is probably the source of the problem. I should tell you, it will not be able to run AH2.
