It reminded me of a Rambo movie, but with more blood.  Uma looks good killing scores of blade weilding baddies.  The blood effusing fire hose effects were a bit over done.  The flims most appealing feature was that Uma really did look good in that yellow sweat suit.

I think the only reason I wouldn't see it is because of the name, Kill Bill?

Saw it last night due to boredom and lack of anything better to do. I'd originally intended to wait until both were out on video so I could get the full story, but, boredom won out.

Ran into a friend on the way out who asked what I thought of it. Best way I could put it was "If you're a Tarantino fan you'll like it. If you're not, you wont."

As for my take on the ladies in the film...
Uma - never has impressed me
DH - not aging gracefully
VF - could send me to my room any time
LL - never quite sure what to make of her
Gogo - cute, but I'd have to avoid wanting to "penetrate" her
Sophie - babe...if she were still in one piece

I know a lot of the film was tongue in cheek, but one thing that really bugged me if it was intended or not was how Uma would go from speaking perfect Japanese to misprounouncing things, like Yakuza.

It depends who's asking.  I'm afraid she'll penetrate me.

Agreed.  I can't think of a film I enjoyed more then this.  I don't want to sound like a cheerleader, but this is a seriously great movie.

Avoid Matrix 3 and go see this!
Its awesome.

And I dont understand the drooling over the schoolgirl, with the black woman from the begining, Uma Thurman, and that French-Japanese woman who got mutilated.

THOSE were hot.
Uma had her moments. When she enters the sushi bar she is uber hot. And when she gets off the plane in Tokyo, with the black leather clothing. Hothothot.

Sophie, the french girl, takes the prize for hottest. I'd **** her even with her arm missing.

Are any movies made in the US any good?

I want to see some good French and German movies. We need "culture" in movies :)

Was this post an attempt to seem above all of us?
Cause if you wanna discuss good foreign movies we can talk endlessly about Abre Tus Ojos, Run Lola Run, Dark Blue World, El Crimen Del Padre Amaro, Y Tu Mama Tambien, El Dia de la Bestia, and many more.

And you know what? None of it will change the fact that Kill Bill rocked. And it wont make you seem any smarter either.
