C'mon Brady ... everytime someone tries to evaluate any results in any CT setup that doesn't add up the way you want it to you immediately play this card (though you like to use statistics, charts and graphs to back up your own arguments ... some of which don't). Hold off and lets see where things go. Then maybe pretend to look at it and formulate an opinion before you give us one you already have.

Oh wait ....

Ok .... just bump this one down. :D

Hey, I was one of the 5 knuckleheads to lose a P-38 to an A6m-2!

(I think I caught a 20 mm in the forehead on a HO)

Im surprised so few Ki-61s were used, its certainly better than an A6M5, and at only 4 perks. Each to their own I guess.

The P-38L scored 205/1431 kills for the Allies, or 14% of their total.

The Ki-61 scored 162/1454 kills for the Axis, or 11% of their  total.

Both sides scored within 23 kills of each other, or within 2%, despite the P-38Ls presence.

Wow.
I was one of the 5 in an A6M2 that killed a P-38. I wish I could claim skill on it. Actually I was dodging this 38 , blacked out and about to shat myself. When my vision came too there was a 38 crossing my wind screen , pulled the trigger and got hits. Then i'll be damned the smoking 38 went into the drink and crashed.  A minute later enaged with a P-40  that flew into the drink giving me kill #2.

I still had 106 cannon shells, and just under a half a tank of gas........ Then it dawned on me for those few shining moments I was the luckiest bastage in the CT. So like a brave samurai I ran my butt home and landed my kills.

Just goes to show you , the sun shines on a different dogs bellybutton everyday.:p

Interesting stats, Eskimo.  P-38 seems to be the ride of choice.   Wonder if those D3 kills were manuever zaggies or actually the result of those poor wee guns?
