Does this work?
« on: October 17, 2003, 08:23:04 PM »
I still have a lot to learn about websites.

I'm trying to get recordings of my school's choir on our school website.  This page has two links that work well from the machine that built the page and recorded the music, however, the other 2 online machines in my house can't run it.  One is an old Win 98 POS.  Media player crashes on it.  My father-in-laws ME machine says that there is some kind of liscense error and won't run it.

I've never played with sound before.  Heck, I don't think I've ever even downloaded one song ever.

Anyway, let me know if the links work, crash or also give a liscense error.

Thanks,

The two songs would not play because of license error.  The page was blank on the right half.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln enjoyed the play.

There was some sort of explanation when the songs wouldn't play, but couldn't reopen the link.  If you or someone else can trigger that denial, it might have what you need to get started at least.

I'm guessing the problem is with playing copyrighted songs without permission?

Esk, you can try and change the file format from .wma to .wav or .mp3

You need a program like dBpowerAMP music convertor for this though.
