FPS good but icons have black boxes

      Getting great fps but still very choppy  





    xp pro    amd 2400+  640M ddr ram  G4 ti4200

Man theres got to be something going on with my monitor  i think.
i mean i should be getting alot more FPS than I am:confused:

Oh did i mention Im running 1600x1200 all the eye candy on:eek:
Tries it at 1024x768 at it went up to 100 where I have refesh set at.
I think that is the limit of my viewsonic pf790

I went to 1600 x 1200.  My framerate went down to 60 but choppyness is gone.

MrBlack fps has nothing to do with your monitor. Period.

It can only cap your fps to your set monitor refresh if you use vsync, nothing else - and even that comes from software.
