To me it looks like a WW 109 that has been washed and cleaned up.  Had he added a layer of "dust and dirt" the colors would have been more subdued.  Its a fine line, too much weathering and the model looks silly, not enough and it doesn't look "right".

I agree about the model not looking quite "right" and I think it is caused by the excagerated panel lines.  They are too dark and too large for the scale.  Otherwise, it is an outstanding job.

Scroll down from the pic and it says its a Revell in 1/48 scale.

Ah, nice work then! :eek:  1:48 is still pretty small (for a fighter model)
