The Wrecking Crew is indeed alive in WW2OL(which just went gold BTW).We are made up mostly of AW3 refugees from The Dirty Dozen(DDZ) and a few other hardcore jocks.Cav,if you are interested,I could give you our CO's email.Would love to have you aboard...BTW,one of TWC has been a closed beta tester for WW2OL and reports the flying to be very good...I'm glued to AH though, but the thought of flying my 109 emil...MMmmm..

heh so much for passing with no fanfare, so guess I'd better weigh in

The Wrecking Crew in Aces High and them other fellas in WWIIOL are two different groups of people.

A concept early in beta tour 2, and a reality by the end of that tour, TWC got its name from the way we wrecked whatever we hit, usually with an NOE ingress to the target (before the acks were changed to more at the fields).  From a dozen hogs lined up for takeoff for a fighter sweep to large buff formation deep penetration runs it was always a blast.

<S> to everyone who has come and gone and put up with me for so long

<Pops to attention> Render HandSALUTE

Sorry to see TWC go MIA, always were good opponents and ready, steady wingmen!
