Its your turn in 'the bucket'
« on: October 30, 2000, 11:32:00 AM »
I've played AH online just about 24 hours around the clock, and one thing that is consistent is the inconsistency of which country is the dominent/has the numbers... in the arena.

Just keep in mind that while you were NOT online, your country might have been winning!

If you don't like the situation your country is currently in, then ORGANIZE and save the whining, most if not all of us don't want to hear it.

I get 4 weeks of vacation, 2 weeks of sick leave, and an additional 15 days of holiday time off, all paid.    So I do dabble in all hours of the day, not consistently, but enuff to know that there is no 'balance issue' as there is percieved!

Ripsnort, you make a good argument for my pane rationing suggestion.  If you got one side just filled with tons of people, then the plane rationing idea would be great. More people? Less plane types to fly. Of course everyone would get to fly the non-uber stuff such as the F4U1c and the Niki..heh.

Historically yes numbers won the war. But we aren't looking to simulate that part of history. What we want is balance.  Something you don't want in real war.

LOL Vulcan!

Fscott, with all due respect, limiting planes should be limited to Box sims with AI's.  At $30/a month, I want to fly the A/C I choose at any time.

I'd agree rip, the #'s always will vary over time...one thing that I'd see as a interesting variable would be an increasing "hardness level" as one side gets pummeled. The less space you have the heavier flack, base hardness, recovery etc.. Not a huge difference, but enough to make taking those last 3-4 bases tougher...just an idea.
