It is? I always thought the PT could outrun it, not easily, but it could keep up Im sure.

This really makes the torpedoing very hard, add the fact of the fleet shooting VERY much :eek:

The type of torpedo modeled here in AH must be the US MK 10 or 13. It only had about a 25-27 knot speed at best with a 550 lb. warhead.

Also all the torpedo's are the same, japanese torps were alot more reliable then the american ones.

I'd like to see shore battery guns inland; maybe around strat targets.

If/as the ground war in AH develops (along with terrain); it may be possible in future to set up a realistic representation of Europe complete with Siegfried lines and similar.

Agree, would be fun if we had to conquer them guns. like dropping goon on 'em or something before we can actually use the trouble-makers

WWII light cruisers typically had 5"-6" guns, heavy cruisers typcially had 8" guns. In AH we have one of the US heavy cruisers (I can't remember which class it is) with 8" guns.

Well heavy cruiser or not, they still cruise to bloody fast
