Cut your shotgunshell just behind the Wad, so that it still holds together. Shot it into a old cardoor or into an empty oilbarrel.
You will be suprised when seing the result!
(be sure that the shotgunshell uses the "cottontype" of powder, not the lose stuff, as this might cause danger to your gun and to yourself).
Got this trick from a samic hunter, who always had one or two shells cut up like this in case of a bear attacked. (from the time when slugs where not allowed to use or to sell in sweden).
