It is up to us to make the CT successful. Prior to the new release my squaddies and I frequented there. We need a good salesman in the MA to get the numbers up to levels of TOD then were talkin fun.

"Historical arena like the one run by vertigo."
Is this a H2H arena ?

No - it is a "real arena" run by Vertigo. He basically adjusts the settings like icon levels, planes available and whatnot.
Are field captures enabled at all in the CT? At the end of my 2-week "grace period", the MA seemed to have more strat than the CT. But I do so enjoy historical matchups :(

there is absolutely no strat in the ct
no buffs
no fields or towns to capture
long fligth times
and no one o shoot at

no buffs? last time I was in the CT there were B-26's and B-17's (perked) for the allied, and ju88's for the axis.

I believe his point was that there is no POINT in flying buffs since captures aren't possible - thus, no one flies bombers, even if they are available. So you just end up with furballs in the Channel off the Pas de Calais with historical match-ups.

Actually, over the weekend, there were 20 people in the HA. Also, the HA is packed Thursday evenings during TFT - mini events run by Vertigo where people get 4 lives...the results of the "bloodbath", i.e. who won and why, are posted a few days afterwards by Vertigo in the AGW forums.
Who runs CT? I really like historical match-ups. I find the MA in both WB and AH to be really bizarre - it's unnatural. I've gotten to the point where it no longer bothers me and I do admit it's fun but...it's...just...wrong.

New guy opens door.... looks around...
Hi
Maybe that is needed a event to get players in CT. Over that other "sim" (AW) we ran that was call "Warnights" and sometimes Warweekends". If you can get them in for the weekend... Maybe they will stay.
Something like....
Kanalfront
The Kanalgeschwader, JG-2 & JG-26 takes on the RAF and parts the 8th AF. With a 41-42 plane set and the terrain in CT now.
Run it from Friday night to Sunday night. Unlimited lives, just need way to total the points for the weekend. With a few banners and some advertising in the boards... It may work.

stand corrected tft do take place in wb3...
these a lot of "bugs" with the euro map in the ct.
I think that adds to it .........

The bugs in the Europe map can be gotten around. I have been playing with it and got it so you don't get the friendly factories firing on friendly planes.
