I am looking at replacing my old Saitek X52 with a newer one. I was wondering if it would just be plug and play using the same drivers and settings since Logitech has since bought out Saitek. Also, it's crazy to think I'll be paying the same price I paid for it back in 2008. :joystick:

I would think it uses the same software
I didn't use the software when I had the 36, then 45 then X52 in AH as it allowed programming all three options without it

Ya know... I don't ever remember downloading anything on my PC when I started playing again. It was just plug and play anyway. Good point, Eagler! Thanks!

I had a Saitek X55, the original Rhino HOTAS, when it died I went to the Logitech X55, which they acquired from Saitek. The software was not the some, I had to reprogram everything.

I heard you can use the same software but you have to use your finger and run it backwards. Ignore the references to the devil.
