Title: Why can't LA7 be scored as attack?

What a great air to mud plane!  LA7 is easily my best ack straffing plane but since I can't score those sorties as attack, I hurt my score every time I do it.  HTC gave it hard points for bombs... is it too much to ask to be able to score LA7 as attack?
