Title: Sea Battle
Post by: white witch on July 21, 2001, 04:51:00 PM
Hi :-)

I'm VERY new to AH scenario's, though I did do some in AW, and was wondering what the process is to set up a 3 hour Check six on a sunday?

My aim is a CV against CV battle, equal sides +> historically incorrect, so is it possible someone could let me have some idea of who/where to get some more info?

Please excuse my newbie dweeeebishness <S>

Hi White,

The CM's are the ones who set up the Check 6 events. Usually they are pretty simple with Europe, Pacific, N Africa theme... or one of the many new maps coming out. Some of the CM's have gone to much greater detail in setting up the Check 6 events. Duck, Camo, Busc have done some real nice ones.

Next weekends Snapshot is a Navy engagement. The link is not up yet, but you can look at it on my site.  http://www.ropescourse.org/kurita.htm (http://www.ropescourse.org/kurita.htm)

If you ever want to write up your own event just send it to the CM's and the will review it like they do each others events.  :) No reason you can't write up a CV vs CV battle. If it is approved the CM's will set it up for you.

Hi Witch - if it's anything like the one you did in AW, it will be great!  In fact with the moveable ships here, I imagine it will be even better!  If you do go ahead with this, I'm sure there will be a lot of interest from some of the Kraits and Firebirds at least (those that were involved first time round)   :)
