What is the plan? What hotel? If this is at a campground, some folks will probably want to get an RV. I still feel this was posting way too early again. But, this is a lot of people "to commit" without further details. Right now including "family", you're looking at almost 70-75 people.

lol hooch...u know when this first began, SGY had a gathering at her house, there was about 17-18 ppl if i remember correctly. the following year was dayton, we had like 36 or so there. Last year there was like 75 people maybe a few more than that. it seems to get bigger every year and you never know what to expect. and every year we try to do something different. like last year, for those of us that went down to dayton on friday, most of us went bowling. it was great fun for those of us that had kids. not sure what we are going to do this year but it will be fun!

i just got a call from the hotel, they said only 1 reservation has been made under the "aces high" group. we have alot of rooms reserved but we only have a couple weeks before the rooms go back open to rent out to others. so if you have not made your hotel reservations and plan to stay at the one i got the discounted rate for, please make your reservations soon or you will pay full cost for that weekend.

It's called Great Miami Adventures.
Located at 1995 Ross Rd. Tipp City, OH 45371
Sits right on the Great Miami River (Yes, he has Canoe's, Rafts ect. available)
He has plenty of room for several RV's and will be installing 4-5 50Amp services for those.
Tents can go just about anywhere you wanna set up.
Indoor Shower and Bathroom for those who just can't use a PortaPotty :huh
Multiple Fire Rings along the River.
We'll have a Giant 150 Foot Water SlipNSlide setup Saturday for entertainment

Alright so 1 keg it is. Thank god I don't have any gear to camp with I don't know how I will fit this all in my car. So anything special for a beer keg. We sell alot. Coors Light, Keystone, Papst, Blatz, Old Milwaukee, Killians, Molson, Blue Moon, Great Lakes, Magic Hat, Sierra Nevada. I'm tossed up between Molson Canadian and Coors Light even though I love Great Lakes. But its not about me. Shawk just pick something and I will take care of it. I got about 3 bottles of Southern Comfort for Betty, is anyone needs more let me know so I can grab it. Oh ya and no worries on bring cups. I have about 2000 Plastic Cups for everyone to use and I have a few pitchers I will bring down. I will see if I have any t-shirts to bring down to give out.

Actually they are. We as a KREWE, spend several grand a year on beads, toys, shirts, candy, food and drinks to hand out to the parade goers and such. We are involved in a minimum of three major parades, various Mana Food Bank drives and toys for tots at Christmas each year. The entertainment we derive from this is putting smiles on the parade goers (getting some S.U.Y.T. shots :D), feeding hungry disadvantaged people in the community and giving some disadvantaged children something for Christmas where normally they wouldn't have anything at all. The beads are just an extra window dressing for a festive atmosphere. When we are able to put smiles on peoples (and children's) faces, that's entertainment.

Alright so 1 keg it is. Thank god I don't have any gear to camp with I don't know how I will fit this all in my car. So anything special for a beer keg. We sell alot. Coors Light, Keystone, Papst, Blatz, Old Milwaukee, Killians, Molson, Blue Moon, Great Lakes, Magic Hat, Sierra Nevada. I'm tossed up between Molson Canadian and Coors Light even though I love Great Lakes. But its not about me. Shawk just pick something and I will take care of it. I got about 3 bottles of Southern Comfort for Betty, is anyone needs more let me know so I can grab it. Oh ya and no worries on bring cups. I have about 2000 Plastic Cups for everyone to use and I have a few pitchers I will bring down. I will see if I have any t-shirts to bring down to give out.

I know this is a bit late, but I will not be able to attend the gathering this weekend and have a pavilion ticket and parking pass for the Saturday show that I am happy to donate if someone needs/wants it. I am in Atlanta and local pickup would be great, but I can send it out two day delivery (for delivery cost). The value is about $43. I also have a room reserved at the Marriott Courtyard near the airport for Friday through Monday @ $76 per night that I was going to cancel (not sure of the room status in the area, so if anyone is having trouble finding a room I will be happy to change the name on my reservation but please show up so I don't get charged for a no show).PM Sent

First off thank you Shawk and Betty. You guys did a great job. From the food to the band to the awesome venue you picked out, you guys out did yourselves. It was great getting to meet everyone and an honor to shake everyones hand. Although I'm sorry I never got to see Boxboy go down the slip and slide. I'm extremely happy Jaxxo never sat in my chair. Next year will being adding a Slimjim to the packing list for those who like to lock there keys in there car, and ton of Sparks for a certain someone, I hate to see you go empty handed. I have to say this was definetly a great experience. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the weekend a very memorable one.

Today was our first day back to reality, vacation is over. Dayton was a blast as always! Hard to believe badger, Nghtmare and myself started this at my house four years ago! What a great annual get together! We stayed at out summer place in Monticello before and after the party which was as awesome as it could be with a broken hip. Couldn't get in the volleyball games and run around too much at the party and couldn't ride around too much on our boat but, I got to go so I am happy about that! I see the Dr. on Monday and we will see exactly what is going on ... some of you may remember I broke it after Dayton last year so I am concerned why the reinjury. Was great to see the "repeaters" and meet the new future repeaters! Scott, just the first five minutes with you made me feel alot better! Please thank Chris for the "hook up" with the golf cart. SheGotYa's Chalet was great the baby slept through the night and you couldn't hear the band or fireworks so he never woke up! I booked it for next year minus the broken hip it should be awesome! Please also thank Robin for me for bopping the boy around so I could eat the awesome wings! Tell Brandon his "wise eyes" comment about Jacob stuck it was awesome to finally meet him. Was nice to see Aubry (hopefully I spelled that right) for the first time too she is a cutie! Was a great trip as always despite the pain that the alcohol made go away long enough to be pain free for a dance with JAXXO ... how the hell I did that I will never know, I think I stood still and spun him around, it's a little blurry.

The only "in person" issue I've ever had was at the 2003 AH Con. DmdBen had flown from Germany to attend. In the hallway he is verbally attacked by a player by being asked: "Well, are you with us or against us in Iraq?!" DmdKeg was translating for Ben who was by now Red. I stepped in and sternly corrected the buffoon for even mentioning this crap at a "GAMING CONVENTION". Curval, Loser101 and about 10 others witnessed this and thanked me.
Aside from that, when I went to Dayton last year, I was just myself. Those who have MET, or have spoken in depth on the phone with me, know the "haters" are the true buffoons. You treat me kindly, it'll be reciprocated. Do otherwise...even in game and I'm laughing at you, as are those who have met me or spoken with me.
Tell you what, I've been down there 3 years running now.. and was down there before with Scott during AW. I've never known any ill feelings or words to be spoken at things like this outside of taunts and meaningless drunk joking.
