It is absurd that bishops can roll up 14 players deep to an enemy base with only 3 defenders an little to no eny restrictions. Then reset the map 20 minutes later and then log for the day creating 20 eny for the country it just lost the war too.

you are right. wont do this again. MY hope was by talking about it each time that it would show how inconsistent ENY is.
After seeing your post I realize what u describe is the only effect it has so I called Dale and he provided a solution to my issues.

I hear ya it's just that the game is dying and ENY is restricting a shrinking player base. This game can no longer afford to ask its players to side switch or log out in order to balance eny.

To each their own. I completely disagree with you about ENY. Without it I simply would log off after seeing a hotde running around in late war uber planes and tanks. And I'm very confident I wouldn't be the only one. I wonder how long bullies in hordes capturing completely udefended bases would keep the interest of those same bullies. And how would that be good for the game?

Long before eny you would have a horde and another horde dogfighting between bases. Massive furball in all its glory. But thats when the arena would have 600 players logged into it. Those numbers are long gone

My com0laint is I'm getting restricted in mid war bombers that are 20 eny while fighting hordes of 10-20 v 1-5 ...
AND THEY GET TO KEEP THIER LATE WAR PLANES

Is this all you talk about? Like I get it the way the aircraft are balanced in game seems kind of scuffed. But having put some time between the three teams, the issues keeping me with engaging with the game have little to nothing to do with the funny ENY number. :bhead

I’m pretty confident that you play AH during times where arena population is high and drastic ENY swings don’t happen, thus you don’t experience what he’s talking about.
When is the last time that your only choice to take any ordinance off a CV was a TBM or SBD?
I’ve not noticed your name at night, so unless you fly in the morning…

Why would you complain about that? TBM carries all the ords you can imagine. If you want to fly a fighter, there are plenty of capable fighters at those ENY levels. I get that Merv wants to fly B24s or B17s whenever he's on, and that's his problem, but really, what's the beef?

Can you defend yourself against P51’s, La7’s, 5-8 ENY planes while trying to either bomb a tank/flak in or on its way to town or to finish off a few more bldgs in a TBM or SBD? The LVT or M3 needs protection too…Pretty easy Pickens don’t you think?

Shot down a 47M, La7, A20 and F6F after I bombed town last time I flew a TBM when eny got high. So yes. Some how our vast numbers persevered over the oppressive and evil eny.

In fact, I believe I play 3 to 10 times more than you per week. At all times of day throughout said week 24/7 I touch em all. So in your not so humble opinion does that mean I play too much? That I need to "take a break?"

Well if eny is that high we have numbers. 5-6 wildcats and A6M’s, 2 other TBM’s and 3 LVT’s. We were taking a base back, not looking for 1 vs 1, work together and take advantage of their mistakes and over aggressive moves.

Maybe instead of prohibiting low ENY fighters when ENY is active, the game could restrict affected planes to spawn only from the large, uncapturable fields. That way, pilots who are unable to fly anything but their favorite planes could still fly them, it would just take them longer to get to the action. Instead of outright prohibition, you give them the option that comes with a kind of penalty or handicap...

So having read through a bit more of this then I would have liked to, I've personally come to the conclusion that the actual issue is just the fact that the teams aren't balanced. Implement forced balancing to keep the difference in player count bellow a certain percentage. ENY is irrelevant when you're fighting 2:1.

Excellent observation.
I fly Knights and I would switch every now and then and see how good my buds are, however it’s very likely I’d get stuck on Bish (fly at US night time) and there would be little to no action on most nights. The Knights and Rooks suffer the ENY penalty for the Bishops who generally later at night don’t have many fights…. :bhead

Everyday this week i have observed Rooks having ENY to where you cant launch lancasters for well over 50% of a 24/7 period.
ANYONE who comes here and flametards this thread and attacks me is vain as hell.
Im just the only one being vocal about this.
Its ok for bishops to run shades and hordes of 10-20 players more than any else. Then to log and drive up ENY sky high.
ITS A BROKEN SYSTEM
WEEKS UPON WEEKS have turned into MONTHS UPON MONTHS nothing is getting fixed

The way we did it, we took off, dropped our bomb just off our field and then shot our wheels off. Then we would go find a fight in a furball.

AH needs D5 version of Stuka. It has 20mm cannon in wings instead of 7.92 peashooters.
