this week i lost my link to the game on my computer from a virus.i did a search for hightech on the web and found a bunch including a link to them on twitter,and facebook and a complaint board. http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/hitech-creations-aces-high-ohio-c399301.html#c1508440

i have had the double charging happen but the reason being is if you dont pay for a month they take money for both months so its not them ripping us off

If the guy would post his bank statement as well as a few of his friends doing the same, I'd be interested. Until then, I'll treat it like I treat 90% of the stuff on the Internet, just more BS.
Why do people add fuel to these stupid fires? Did anyone notice that the original posts are over 2 years old? What, nobody had any complaints between then and the newer posts? Give me a break, just a couple cry babies not being able to get there way.

Absolutely nothing, that complaint is over 3 years old and has most likely sunk to the bottom of the internet by now.
As for the actual complaint, here is a quote from one of the reply's.
The original poster is a well known paranoid troublemaker. He tries to cheat and ruin the game for others, and then he complains when he gets warnings from the game owners/developers.

Some of the comments are funny.
The game will bore you within a short period of time.It is always the same gameplay.Dont try to be the best there, you cant, it is the AH staff that makes them win so they have they favorite players and they alway hit and always fly better.It is a big cheat after all with the help from the AH staff.Those favorites like bruv119 or fester pay probably a bit more to get those favors.

And almost all of the negatives is BS from noobs who couldnt hack it, and we know that. BUT the double-charging thing, thats new. First time Ive ever heard that allegation. I would think that if it did occur that we would see at least some squeaking about it on 200, but in my 5+ years here I havent. Regardless, I'll have to review my statements when I get home tonight, but I don't think I'll find that I've been ever been overcharged.

This is an on-line flight simulator war game charging 14.95 month. They are constantly reducing capabilities while keeping the game at same price. You can only play when and where they want, and cater to children who whine allot. If you complain about the deterioting game experience, etc. they will cause you to have problems, disconnects or other issues that restrict your gameplay.

Kind of cut and paste. I've seen similar syntactical and grammatical structures in the comments sections at cheat code sites saying just about the same info. I think this is really a single individual who has it in for HTC and is trying to use the Internet to host his one man crusade. At least he is not telling his audience his rant or invention is his dog's property so HTC can sue his pooch if they are reading it. ;)

In two seconds flat, with a sincere apology and probably 3 months free sub. Bad news always spreads quickly and mutates into something unpleasantly disturbing. Good news only travels as far as the ear of someone who trusts you.

It is a lie.
More than likely when a person sees a double billing is due to the previous month not being billed due to the charge being blocked by the issuing bank. So it shows up next month and along with the regular billing time. What they are not saying is we do not shut off a players account for that type of problem, for several weeks and then we only lock it. Emails are automatically sent when a failed charge happens. In-game notifications are also done.

So when billing time came around, my card didn't go through. after a week of seeing the "negative balance notice" when I login, I called HiTech and explained I was broke, but could pay on the next payday (2 weeks away). would you believe they had the audacity to leave my account active, and then charge me for the past month on the following billing cycle ?? what nerve ! ;)

Well I checked back over 3+ years and didn't find any problem.
I've never had a billing issue and woo, reconciling every month is tough. :D

Anyone who plays would know that. If nothing else you're a straight shooter. Sometimes that's for the bad, this time it's for the good. And it would be a bargain at double the price anyway. Only tossers complain. I wonder if tossers will be changed to banana or will that one be allowed to go through?

I love the fact that people come in here and disagree, or complain about the game or small portions of it...or call out a player for being a nub....but god forbid someone goes outside the fold and says something negative about the game.........those same people are right there in a flash to to step on the offenders testicals

It's so sad that these days that so many spend more effort on trying to figure out how they can be a victim instead of working to better themselves. It's the world we live in today. Nobody fails because they didn't do good enough, it's because the didn't get their "fair shot"...

If you look at the time stamps on most the responses, it's more of a steady buildup than instant deluge. If that OP interprets it as justification, it only legitimizes him as an undernutured bulitin board troll in need of counseling. If he responds or tries phishing further, it only looks bad if we get dragged into it. As is, most the positive feedback ignores and doesn't cite the OP.

I need to find the PM if I saved it - a player accused me (based off my name) as being some satanic atheist new worl order conspirast who must be/have an inside connection with HTC because I was cheating (or what we would otherwise call an absolute flogging), and further this meant HTC must be full of devil worshipers.....
I responded "brb, need a beer and some Bob Marley".

The Doublecharging accustion was made yesterday morning, pretty much the reason I felt I needed to look into it. Of course the "myself and 17 others" was complete BS and one doesnt need to be a rocket scientist to figure out whom that might be.
