Title: Are skins usable on staged(offline) missions?

Is it possible to use downloaded skins for the planes on staged missions? Or are they just to show off and/or use online only?

I downloaded as many skins I could think of for nearly every plane(mainly fighters), and they do show up, even when I play offline practice mode. But I get tired of seeing the same skins on every squad each mission. Is there a way to put the skins on certain planes for it, and if so, how to do so?

Staged missions use only default skins.  It's always been that way and I would LOVE if that would be possible to change in order to make/run true historical missions.
