Added Drop Tank costs for P-47d11.
http://oracledba.help/app/ww2planes/index.php?n=Site.DropTankCost
EDIT: In the tests I found the P-47d11 is actually 2mph faster than d40 on the deck. :O

Not enough to note 2mph difference w/o knowing gross weight at TO, type fuel used in the test, Boost and RPM, W/I?
D-40 came equipped with wing racks, D-11 had some installed at Depot, so how was the test configured. Wing racks are a big drag item.

drgondog,
All my stats invite you to try and test for yourself as I provide exactly what I did to get the result. Also they are based on the plane as modeled in this game, i.e. not exactly as it was in WWII.
In this case:
Testing Parameters:
* Altitude 100-200 feet for all tests.
* Droptank (if equipped) dropped on runway before take off for tests.
* Plane internal fuel was 25% fuel.
* Smallest gun package used in tests unless indicated otherwise.
* Speed measured at edge of radar ring (some planes can go a few mph faster after radar ring).
* Wep used from start if plane had it.
You can set this up and check the weights for yourself or any other property you like.
Please share your findings! :)

missed the memo - thought you were discussing 'life' results.
