Is there anyway way to toggle between VR & monitor without exiting the game and restarting it? The reason I ask is MS Flight Simulator 2020 has that feature and it works great to take a short break from VR.
Thanks

There is an auto swap feature, remove the VR headset and you're in normal monitor view.

Except the normal monitor view doesn't look normal in FOV or resolution

I can see flying around in ms flight sim and being able to go from vr to monitor as you don't do anything but fly around...but in AH your SA will take a huge hit going back to 2d dots from 3d vr images IMO

I haven't messed with it, but can you adjust the FOV for that once you take the headset off? I always assumed that was just the default and the regular view parameters applied.

Not sure. But if I were a gv guy I would prefer the 2d view. Sometimes when resupply or in buffs I also like to take my headset off and the 2d view looks weird

If you load up exclusively in VR or exclusively in monitor mode without VR, the settings are independent. I'd be curious to try making changes to the monitor settings after I take off the headset and see what happens. I'd suggest taking a backup of the settings folder before doing that though. ;)

this.
the resolution doesn't matter as much as the view.
it would be nice if it at least stayed lined up a bit better when you take the headset off.
there are definitely times its nice to remove the headset.
