Title: Game Play Downhill???
Post by: Sweet2th on August 21, 2007, 11:24:31 AM
The game play in Aces High has gone 2 the toilet. The score Nazi's, the timid dogfights, the "ADULTS " <---risky theme-- that treat younger players like they are a piece of crap, it's really just went down hill.

I don't get why players have to make a big deal out of a younger player in this game. The whole reason any of us play this game is to escape the reality of our everyday situations and have it just like it was when we were kids.My father  is a Marine(Parris Island class of 62) and i grew up watching black & white combat footage so playing this game takes me back to when i was kid having GIJoe battles and not caring about anything in the world.

Why do grown folks HATE on KIDS in Aces High so much??

They are easy kills to pad your score.

They remind us of our youth.

They really don't understand much of what some adults are saying to them.

Yesterday my son had an incident with soome other players.Really it was quite disturbing to say the least since a AH Trainer was involved. This event is what has started this thread for i want to know why, why can't people just log into a GAME, and play that game????

why must they torment and hurt the feelings of young children playing this GAME??????

My son has been watching me play this game since Feb. 2001 and he really enjoys it, and he has a total blast when he is online.Because of the Adult behavior in this GAME as of late i have showed him how to take screen shots and roll film and he has caught quite a few " ADULTS" and we have reported them and they are being dealt with.

I just wish this crap would stop.

Act like "ADULTS" for a change.

This post is not intended as a troll as many of you would like to think. This is a serious thread about a very serious topic.

Thank  You

Sweet2th, I've never seen you in game under "1HungLo" or "Sweet2th".   So obviously you hide behind shades accounts or you "rarely flew".

I cannot speak for the other's, but your post is in direct contrast to your posts in the past.    So based on that, yeah.....you're a hypocrite.

It's "Can't we all just LEARN to get along?" Get it right, please. Sheeeeesh! :)

Sweet2th, you're talking trash about any trainer. We teach people to fly in the TA and go so far as to stop interruption and disturbing behavior in the area. In other words, we enforce the rules of the arena so other people can learn in peace. Otherwise, everyone gets a fair chance to learn. There are lots of young kids that have come up in the game over the years. Some of them gang up together and go play "WAR" at some other airfield and have a great time. We even have an 8 year old, yeah, he just had a birthday a month or so ago that unless you heard him talk you'd think of him as any other player. They're doing what kids do and enjoy themselves. They are well balanced, good kids that are gonna go far in life. In the last few days I've only had two kids that were problematic;

One said he wanted everyone to tell him not to shoot instead of him having to ask and get ok to attack. I flat out told him that was not going to happen as it's against the rules of the arena and ended up warning him 2X before he left on his own accord.

The 2nd was probably 10 or so because he either asked "why" or "I don't want to do that" every 30 seconds. Anytime someone gave him help he'd ignore the advice and ask another question unrelated to the subject at hand. A lot of time and help was expended by a trainer and other folks for someone who wasn't listening. Now an hour goes by. No progress. There are many other people waiting in line to get help. 5 other people could have been helped. They actually want to learn, not just here themselves talk.
At some point we have to move on to help the many and not babysit the one. Baby sitting is your job not the trainers. Let me say one more thing. We get adults who have never flown before, just like the kids. Some of those folks take 20 times for something to sink in. But once they get it, they know it. Just like the kids. Both get frustrated from time to time but the trainers sit there and go over it and over it until everyone understands and they're working off the same page. They end up being darn good flyers and have alot of fun in this game.

So, if one of those kiddies got chastized by a trainer which one was yours?

The 1st who doesn't care for rules and is content to break them until warned a few times?
If the 2nd kiddie is yours then what role do you actually play in his development? You say you've been flying for years? And your child  knows nothing? He doesn't want to listen to anyone? Needs a baby sitter? Wait! Am I now attacking you, saying you're not a good father? NO! But I am saying as having been a trainer for years I can safely say there is not one trainer in AH2 that is not honorable in his intentions to come into this game to help anyone in need of it, regardless of who they are or they're age.

It's easy to criticize anyone. Without specifics it has litle value. But it could be a nice troll. There are also 10-20 people in the TA almost 24 hours a day so it's fairly easily to ask anyone for the truth before coming to the boards to accuse anyone. Let me say one more thing. We get adults who have never flown before, just like the kids. Some of those folks take 20 times for something to sink in. But once they get it, they know it. Just like the kids. Both get frustrated from time to time but the trainers sit there and go over it and over it until everyone understands and they're all working off the same page. They end up being darn good flyers and have alot of fun in this game.

Lastly, until HTC gives me marching orders to get milk and cookies so I can babysit the kiddies being dropped off while Mom goes shopping I plan to continue training people who want to learn this game.

Yeah, wow, I had him pegged at a ritalin-deprived 14 years old, max.

I guess the term 'squeaker'  has less to do with age than maturity.

(wall o' text deleted.  wouldn't help anyway)

it's not the kids, it's how they were raised.

I have zero issues w/ kids flying.

I DO have issue w/ the attitude/actions of some of this most recent crop.

Their parents have failed them (and society) miserably.

If you kid had a run-in w/ a Trainer, i'm betting they were out of line.

Nobody just "torments" squeakers for no reason.  (let alone one of the fabulous AH Trainers.  that alone shoulda "red flagged" what you kid was telling you.  methinks you didn't get the whole story of what happened)

I don't know, I had a pretty good time online last night.  Could have used a few more kills a little quicker.  But overall I was satisfied.  No problem finding a furball.

The squelch feature works just fine whenever it's needed.

Just the ADULT responses i knew i would get from all of you highly educated Aero-Nautical engineer wanna be's.

My son does not see this BB nor does he care he is 8.

Ren ren, i am not talkin trash about any trainer, i am talkin facts.since your a trainer i will remind ya B, don't type stupid stuff to a 8 year old player in this GAME if your representing AH Trainers.

I knew all of you would insert weak excuses as to what this post is about, and try to get it off topic. It's a fact your all predictable.

I can understand how you'd take some of the responses above, and just let them fly out your ears, but there is much wisdom in them.

As Lute said, NO ONE harrasses young players simply because they are young.

If your kid got called out for something, he got called out for SOMETHING.

The question, then, is, for what?  You really didn't give much information.  Do you have it, or did you not bother to figure that out?

It's hard to imagine an eight year old being harrassed by trainers. It's also hard to imagine an eight year old being savy enough to cause real problems in the TA.

Seems to be something underneath all this. Your questionable honesty in the past over pictures you claimed were yours, and dead Luftwaffe aces you claimed to have interviewed under your old persona makes this thread reek like a fish market.

If you want adult responses, post like an adult.

sweet2th, ever hear of the story of the boy who cried wolf? You have spewed so much crap on these boards, any post you make is automatically put in that catagory.

The only "kids" I see getting hammered on line are the ones who bring it on themselves. Adult or kid, if they step out of line they deserve it.

There are a ton of posts about the "squeekers", and it is mostly just people who are tired of hearing the same squeeks about "how do I fly", "why aren't you helping take this base", the HOing spit16's and LAs. All of them are looking forward to when the kids go back to school.

As for game play going down hill, ya I think it is, but it should pick back up and settle down in a few weeks! :t

If anyone was really giving his kid a hard time, a simple screenshot or film to HTC would sort it out easily.

Remember when Sweet2th was created? He would simply log in, without flying any sorties, and complain, then come to the bbs and complain more?

This little feud with the trainers (or anger over not being made a trainer) is, well, pathetic. I can understand a little rivalry, or a bit of a personality clash (ask Ren, he's not the biggest hub fan in the game, but even I don't get any **** when in the TA), but creating accounts just to harass the training staff? Get a hobby or watch old movies with your kid or something.

Well, I'm in game alot and I have seen players typing and saying  inapropriate stuff. When it come to people in certin positions in this game, you should mind what you say due to the fact that you are what you are, and people do hear and read what you say.

This is a public game there is no age limit and children do play on this. Have a bit of respect and conduct yourselves as you would infront of your children. For those of you who do not have any children, think of it like droping the "F" bomb while talkin to grandma. Some things just are not proper. I should not have to teach my child how to "squelch" or "tune out" language of a sexual nature nor have to have them hear the F word over and over. Keep the vox clean.

Everyone can make jokes and razz people on this board when things happen. Just because you think your from the "AH2 Cool Crowd" Does not make you special. Not naming any names at all, you know who you are.

If any of you would have talked to any of my kids in non decent manner, I would be upset and would have recorded this and did my best to have you removed from game play, or maybe just had your vox and chat privis suspended indefinitaly.

think about it.

That's all i have to say about this.

No hijacking intended but not agree'n with what someones posts on the boards does not mean theres hate nor does animosity continue. A person who acts civil with other folks in here will never hear a peep from me. Act like a butthead and sometimes I gotta call BS on it.

As far as, bygones be'n bygones... One thing people find out about me in the TA is if they had a bad day with me yesterday for whatever reason that's already history. Today is a new day and we start off from today with no grudges. There's prolly more'n one guy that's told me off in the TA and come back a few days later asking for help. As long as they're civil I help. That's why I'm working there.

As far as Hub goes. He's just another player in the game.  I see him up I might ask a question about what's up. So, what if he whines sometimes. Everyone does. I know I do. Normally I whine cause I did something really stoooopid and died for it. Doh! But I whine to myself not on 200. :)  Ancedote: last night I happened to shoot some dude down. There was more than one plane in the fight. Anyway, he died. On 200 he asks, "how many people were there?" I thought about that for a second and answered, "22". Dumb question (whine), dumb answer. If you come to the party with a gun in your hand and you die. It don't matter if there was 1 or 100 dudes there. Yer still dead. :)

On my part there is no 'haterd' of these youngsters. The problem I have with them is when they constantly get all jabberwoky on the range channel. It's doubly bad when two or more of them start arguing, like fingernails scratching a blackboard. Since we can't squelch the range channel you have to squelch each one, but I've found that even with creating a script on my CH gear doesn't work since some of them seem to be abusing the free trial...alot!

Hate? No, any person or group of people who decide to subscribe to AH, no matter how badly they play or how many exploits they can find and use, is good for HTC's bottom line. That bottom line is what keeps HTC moving forward. The more profitable AH is the longer it will be here, that, IMO, is a good thing.

Just as i thought.

The Assumers come right out of hiding.

No this is not about being a trainer.

No this is not about WW2 Photo's that i got from a torrent site for FREE99.

No this incident did not happen in the TA.

I love the use you gurls have of the word "shades account".Even though a person types some stupid crap and gets his account squared away by Mr.Neese that same person is allowed back to the BB but he/she must create a new account.

When a Member of the AH Training staff is not in the Training Arena he should still hold his actions to a higher standard no matter what other arena he/she is in, they are and always will be known as AH Training staff.

This will prolly get me in some trouble from Mr.Neese for posting it, but after having my son come into my livingroom telling me what was writin here then later on seeing who was one of the involved......

A picture speaks a thousand words, but in this picture only so few are needed huh?

The fact that you single out silat's remark, and not NikorA's, and the fact that you bring this here, instead of just having HTC deal with it, illustrate perfectly what this thread is about.

Also, I suspect that what your kid said to elicit that response from Nik would change the context a bit. He's gone off on me a few times, but not without me having provoked him in the first place.

I think the trainers do an excellent job. I for one wouldn't have the patience that I have seen displayed by the training staff in the TA.

:aok  to all you trainers, the job you do is greatly appreciated.

I have not seen this hate on kids as Sweet2th says is going on in AH. Yes I have seen some funny threads here on the bb concerning squeakers, and I have seen people telling the little Napoleons to stfu, but never undeserved imo, and not always directed at squeakers.

As for Sweet2th, most of your posts seem to be negative in content, and you seem to be unwilling to say what name you fly under, which makes me wonder if you fly at all. So as far as I'm concerned you are nothing but a griefer

That beeing said... i listened to 1BenPunk going off on country channel a few hours ago and lets just say he got squelched by ALOT of people. AFAIK he did not reveal his age (by stating it in plain text ;) ) but he should have taken a hint fairly early on and he didnt.

1BenPunk is no 8 year old. It's just another hungloautotoothwhatever cry for attention. He is not even capable to fake a 8yo personality on countrychannel, his vocabulary and his all-too-known complaining about "no organisation, knights suck & only fly for score, rooks & bish are dolts" easily gives him away.

I ask you all and those who are Parents i ask the most, is this what you want your son or daughter exposed to??????

ok not hating against your kid or anything like that bro. but where is the rest of the text. i have had many fights with NikorA and lots of 200 banter with him and it has always taken alot to get him to talk like that. Silat is Silat he didnt mean any harm i am sure. i have seen you son in the skies and have listened to him, he is not easy on the ears he does talk his fair amount of trash as well.

now as far as your first post. yes i feel some kids are picked on for no reason. Cmustard is a good one. but i have not seen one person say that it does not happen. all of them have said that it does'nt happen that much or they dont do it to most of them, this means they know it happens but not that offten does it happen. some of us fly drunk and most do stupid things when they are drunk.

If it was me that had to come to a conclusion on this matter i would say i would have to beleve that there is more then what meets the eye here.

Am I the only person who thinks that Silat's and NikorA's responses are pretty funny?

Now then. When I was a kid, (and by that, I mean, under 10 years old) I was a gifted athlete. I played both soccer and baseball with adults in an adult "fun league" on the weekends, with my parents blessings.

My parents were told that if I acted like a child, I wouldn't be invited any more, and then that's what they told me.

My parents also told me that I'd probably hear a lot of swearing and that I'd see people drinking beer after games, but that swearing was inappropriate for a child so if I was caught swearing myself they'd stop me from playing. No beer either; same rules.

I played in that league for 3 or 4 years, so I guess I acted OK as far as other players and my parents were concerned.

So with that all said, I'm going to to out on a limb and say that Aces High really is an adult game, much like those fun leagues I used to play in, regardless of how HiTech markets the game.  (However: Aces High is advertised on The History Channel, not Cartoon Network or Fox Kids -- think about it.)

Certainly, kids are welcome to play, but no one wants to deal with childish behavior. In the absence of parents to complain to, childish kids (and childish adults, for that matter) are going to take the brunt of other people's frustration themselves because we can't call their parents and tell them to make their child behave.

Similarly, parents who let children play Aces High should be aware that their kids will be exposed to adult discussions and jokes. I'm pretty sure you'd tell your kid that if they were playing sports with other adults.

Finally, in my experience with this game and other online games, kids only get subjected to truly nasty adult behavior when they start acting childish - and usually they have to act VERY childish over a period of time.  When kids don't act childish, they normally fit in just fine.

Now I don't know what was said that led to the responses Silat and NikorA said, but based on past history, I'd be willing to bet $10 that the kid in question was acting childish, and probably got what he had coming.

If true, as a parent, it is *your* responsibility to see to it that your kid doesn't act in such a way to incur the wrath of others.

If not true, and you kid was truly spoken to this way out of the blue and for no reason, then I'm sorry. Really. No sarcasm intended.

So, what happened that led up to this screenshot?

Like Lusche pointed out, 1BenPunk is a shades account and not an 8 year old by the way they were acting yesterday when I saw him in the arena.  He was whining about HO's and La7s and using language your average 8 year old wouldn't use.

Having said that and if I am incorrect about 1BenPunk being a shades account, then it says a lot about the parents to have a child that behaves in such away.

But considering this guy has created shade accounts just to praise himself, I'm willing to bet 1BenPunk is just another one.

Also, despite what he claims, it is obvious that he is still gunning for Silat for some strange reason.  I can't believe he is still holding a grudge that Silat was selected over him.

If someone put him in his place thats great.
Silat is a gentleman and would be willing to help anyone that needs it, if this guys problem is with Silat must be down to jealousy.

I don't mind when kids play this game, and choose to learn it in as much of an adult fashion as is possible for them. I've flown around many kids, especially when I post a mission. I think most of us can tell by the questions they ask, and by the manner in which they ask them, how serious they are at playing/learning the game.

A big factor I look for in how they play is how they handle humility, because we all get our butts kicked in this game. If they take being shot down with a p!ss-poor attitude, then I don't care to know them. They'd have to grow up and settle down a bit, first. Meanwhile, the squelch button is a wonderful tool.

sweet2th/ted/autopilot/1hunglo still mad at trainers and silat after all this time. sad, but expected.  pretty much a theme of your bbs life.

back to the issue, maybe a full video showing things that lead up to events....not just little (or wittle as you like to say) clips showing a biased view.... Also, if parents are so concerned with what little kids see in an online game, maybe the should reconsider when buying them a subscription to begin with.  Have you ever been on xbox live? Te language those kids use is quite impressive and constant.

As for grown men relating to how it was to be kids, different time different world.  I played alot of nintendo, sega, atari, etc. as a kid.....somehow I don't remember playing those games online at the age of 8....kid of tough to relate.  I guess in High school when we got internet I used to write some stupid stuff, but I deserved and expected everything I got back from it.......a lesson some have yet to learn.

And yes, some of the kids who play are disrespectful and have a very bad attitude being impossible to share the same air space with.  that is also a fact.

But yeh that banter about Nikora and Silat it looks like 2 situations to me.

1. They are both fooling around with each other.

2.Nikora is on the "attack" while Silat is keeping it going in a "defensive" manner but still being part of the problem.

Although I shall bet my new sound card on situation 1.

Hey.  I'm 6 years old!!!

What? No one believes me?  Why not?  Maybe it's cause this is the intardnet and people claim to be who they are not far too often.

"I ask you all and those who are Parents i ask the most, is this what you want your son or daughter exposed to??????"

First off my 8 yr old kid wouldn't be "chatting" with strangers in any game - period.

To be completely honest I would not want him exposed to "people" like you (myopic, dysfunctional, idiots claiming to be adults) either on any level - be it in a game or on a web forum.

You have some serious maturity issues and if you're actually an adult I feel sorry for your kid who's apparently walking in the shadow of a social moron.

The problem with these forums and ingame is the huge amount of disrespect and belittlement the older players are now showing to the younger people.

Words like squeek should but frowned apon JUST as much as a cuss word, or someone braking the forum rules.

You put someone down because they are not as old as you.
You put someone down because they do not agree with you.
You put someone down because they have not been around as long as you.
You disrespect yourself's by doing such things from the begening, aparently YOU are better than they are, yet you show no such class with words like SQUEEK.

Highly disrespectful.

Scuzzy if you read this, you know how some one swears and it auto maticly replaces the word with "watch it"

Why not replace the word "SQUEEK" with "Show some respect or class"
Should change the general mindset AHII has become.

Today is a new day and we start off from today with no grudges. There's prolly more'n one guy that's told me off in the TA and come back a few days later asking for help. :)

i'm a mom, i play this game and have for almost 3 years now, my kids LUV this game but in the same sence if i'm gonna let them play i let everyone know that it is them flyin and they are NOT allowed to type or talk on vox. also when they are on i monitor them closely and am never very far away that i cant hear or see what is bein said in text. my opinion is this....

1. if u are a parent and are gonna allow ur child to play AH, u need to realize how much of an " adult " based game this is.

2. montior ur child's behavior while they are in game play. if they are allowed to speak on vox then listen closely to what they say and how much they say it. parents need to put them in the place of other players and realize that alot of us dont wanna hear a bunch of kids chattin away about nothin that has to do with the game or giving play by play reports on what they are doing.

3. make sure that your children (while in game play or on the forums) do not say anything on there that you yourself wouldnt allow as their parent. example: swearing. If my children EVER talked the way some of these youngsters talk on the game they would b eating thru straws quite frequently. I have heard some stuff out of the kids mouths in the game that make me wanna smack the parents for allowing.

4. realize that the AH community is NOT your babysitter. you cant just pawn ur kids off on  the game and hope that someone keeps an eye out for them. ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN...

i for one get on the game when my kids are in bed and its my " me time " its my time to get away from it all and have some fun and socialize cuz god knows i dont get to do that in real life. i like to get on here and get away from it all. listening to kids on the game disrespecting the adults on there then runnin to mommy and daddy when things dont go right is just BS.

CONTROL UR KIDS.....
thats all i have got to say.

Swapped to Nits yesterday to  help them out with the numbers after Bish went hording.

The 1benPunk guy was spewwing loads of garbage on country channel.

Now I know knights have a fair share of young uns but most just have alot of respect for people who know the game.

Thankfully squelch is available and we still need a perma squlech list.

Do you not realise that people use the squelch facility and all your shouting and whining can't even be heard.  Back in another game the Mods would actively mute people willy nilly to the point  200 banter didn't exist.

don't abuse your freedom to speak or it may be taken away!

The gangbang'n ho'n tards is just something I was experiencing with the group you were flyin' with.  You have no control over what they do, but you do have control with who you fly with.

The trainers do not have nor exercise the same privs they have in the TA. However, anyone that visits the TA  understands immediately there rules to be followed concerning acceptable behavior. While I'd have to say we're not babysitters, the TA is a safe place for you children.

i for one get on the game when my kids are in bed and its my " me time " its my time to get away from it all and have some fun and socialize cuz god knows i dont get to do that in real life. i like to get on here and get away from it all. listening to kids on the game disrespecting the adults on there then runnin to mommy and daddy when things dont go right is just BS.<>

At some point I'm sure you'll get a real life back. You deserve it. :) I'm glad you enjoy the game and I wish ya all the best!

On thing about kids is they demand attention. They enjoy playing their games which are fairly simple compared to the adults. They play all sorts of games in the TA all by themselves as their skills grow. They can also be squelched when required. If they hear from the adult they are gonna get squelched they clean up their act. The more adults that tell them and do it for a night the quicker they straighten up. It's only for a day. They then learn what is acceptable or not. If a parent hears an adult saying inappropriate things then spend a second and squelch them. If you don't do it then don't expect your kids to do it. If you don't do it then you are telling your kids it's acceptable conduct.

Your ego seems to be swelling.  I don't know why.  I'm no trophy wife.
You might want to ease up.  No hidden agenda do I have.
Again, Ren.

Kermit,

At what point have you forgottten that when you show up in an area filled with lots of enemy planes that the closest 3-5 guys aren't going to try to get it in? I flew at 11 all night, last night. I also had 3-5 guys on my 6 most of the time. Such is life in the MA. Help comes or it doesn't. I had a laffie I tried to drag away from the fight. As he had some buds with him. Everytime I began to get him away someone else from above would get in. If I turned back I would have had at least 4-5v1 in an instant. I picked up a very fast C205 so I figured I'd drag him along because the laffie was getting off. Another 1/4 mile and it woulda been him and me. He popped my at 800 yds! LOL. Last sat night I swear they were getting in line to come at me. I forced an overshoot and was lining up on him and another was on my 6, I forced an overshoot and was lining up and you guessed it...:)  You pick your engagements and fly the way you want. I also had alot of 1v1's and lived. Once you chose to fly that way and die it's not cool to complain how or why you got killed since you are the one who chose to engage in the environment.

I've always said and I'll say it again....When I get shot down and I wanna complain I think about what happened then realize I did it to myself cause I got stooopid in the environment I was in. I died because I let it happen. It was my fault, no one elses.

So stand up and take it like a man (errr...did you mention trophy wife? yer not a gurl are ya? Ya know, cept for those weird moments gals are pretty good flyers :D ) anyway, if you come to the fight and live no matter how the fight progressed it was fun. If you died, was it less fun? If you set up the fight environment, blame yourself, no one else. Also, You'll find I don't spend much time on 200. I'm too busy up fighting and having fun. Other than a Hi to someone on the "other side" folks don't hear much from me.

There's 3 kinds of folks in the MA;

1)Those learning and carry a big red bullseye on thier plane. They do learn but they also jump into an fight they can find. They sometimes kill the guy. They learn as time goes by.
2)Those intermediate flyers that have mastered a turn or two. They are also gonna jump in on every fight they can find and are part of the 10 chasing 1 you see all the time. They are beginning to feel the ecstasy of winning fights and want all the kills they can get, no matter what.
3)The older vets are the last group. They take whatever comes along. They ask if someone wants them in. They don't mind dragging and don't mind getting off to let someone else take the kill. They're content to get up and have fun and watch the fight unfold as it ebbs and flows like the tide. They may jump in to stop a fight so the 10 guys in get their minds back on SA, seeing as how there are another 10 bad dudes coming in overhead. If they dive into a fight as asked they shoot the guy or not. As they leave if another dude shows up in thier sights they shoot him also. After all a target of opportunity is a target of opporttunity. They're not too picky nor demanding. It's all good.

Have fun! Forget about the death. Move on. But no matter what. Have fun! But ease off on the whining. :)

Ren, I believe I wasn't whining.

If you fly a certain way, expect a few things being verbally said.  I'm sure you have to have thick skin being a trainer.  I think maybe some emotion is blinding you or maybe some translation is being lost through the internet.  Either way, it's no big deal.  I said nice things on ch200.  You have to at least see that.  If you're just trolling, then have fun with yourself.

The example you used regarding me was and is incorrect and only true in your eyes.  I feel that I've corrected your statement now.

We are thick skinned! Old and worn skinned too! LOL

If you die under my guns it's only because you died under my guns. Remember this. I will have already forgotten I killed you and moved on to the next guy.  If the fight was good then it was good, if it wasn't then it's all good cause there's always more where that came from. As I said, it's like my thoughts on popping guys. If I miss that's fine. There's more out there. If someone else is in hot I'll call off and let him get kill for same reason. I don't mind draggin all night long. There are so many planes out there to shoot how can you not have fun! :)

I do not understand this part.

First, before you respond.  You need to get over the part of killing me.  Everyone else does.  I do not understand you what your point is and what it has to do with my point.

I've repeated what I said and I'll repeat it again so that you can get back on track.  "How many were there?".  Just to let you know, I never saw your response of "22", or at least I don't remember seeing it.  I've already told you the meaning behind it.  My question wasn't a dumb question at all.  I don't expect you to apologize for calling my question dumb.  I don't see how the example you gave of me was related to your original post.

I hope that by asking that question, you can reflect upon it and re-evaluate your behavior.  That's all I hope for when I ask that question.  I don't expect a written response back on ch200.

I feel as though you think I'm angry because YOU killed me.  Once you understand that that's not the case, then maybe we can get this discussion back on track.  Otherwise, I may be wasting my time on you instead of this game.  Cool?

Sad really sad.You all think this is a troll for attention. It's even more sad that a memeber of HTC is allowed to type things of that nature with another aces high player and gets away with it.Is this what the public can expect from the Aces High STaff?????is that what my son has to look forward to in the future from HTC???

These kids that are getting harrassed by all you cool people, these kids are future customers of this game, and this is how HTC lets you treat them.

I was on country yesterday typing things, but they were all truthful. If there are 30 knight players at a enemy base only 3 knight players are trying to take the base. It's not Aces High anymore it's scoring high, cuz thats about what all you little runaways do, Vulch, cherry pick in a LAte war plane then runaway to land your wittle kills for some wtg's in a MAKE BELIEVE WORLD.
All of ya talk a bunch a hardcore make believe smack but 30 of ya can't take a Vehicle base from 3 Bishops.

Funny how you people ASSUME that it's something else behind this posting, but in reality it is just as i stated.Anyone who posted negative on this thread are prolly  the people harrassing these kids in the first place. You should really stop while your all ahead.

But how can we possibly be as cool as you are?

You really do have to let your bitterness towards Silat go.  By the time you reach 16, you'll be burned out with all the hate you've got stored inside.

The facts are:
1) You've never posted anything of any measurable contribution to these boards.  No, your 'Experten' film on how to HO doesn't count as a positive contribution.

2) You are bitter and have some issues as a direct result of Silat being selected over you as a trainer.  Despite the Head trainer saying he decided to pick quality over mediocrity, you just can't let it go.

3) The fact that you keep focusing on Silat (the screenshot you provided is ample proof) just goes to further show you just can't let things go.

4) You've posted under numerous shades accounts just to make posts to congratulate you on being such a "good guy" and a "great trainer" and an "ASSet" to Aces High.  It's sad that you created not one but two shades account just to toot your own horn.

5) 1BenPunk is just another of your shades account.  The behavior of 1BenPunk in game is the same exact behavior you display.  In the unlikely event I am wrong, then your son is a rude little brat and considering the actions and behavior of the father, I can see why.

So, can you see why we think you're such a tool and mock each of your posts?

Do us all a favor and ask your parents to switch you to a year round school so we wouldn't have to put up with all your drivel.  You're dismissed child.

I have to wonder why someone who is so obviously unhappy with the

I also wonder what adult would worry about being "cool".  I stopped
worrying about that junk about 30 years ago.  To each their own, I guess.

I am a proud parent of two sons. One who is 11 years old and one who is 2 years old and they both love to play this game. They watch every move I make online and have seen many online arguments which I have had to explain certain words and behaivor to them. I am glad to say that I prepared them ahead of time for what they would hear on top of them seeing and hearing some of the 200 text and vox transmissions.

They both know that they are not to talk on vox and thay are to keep there text restricted to pertinent game data only. I have not had any issues with anyone disrespecting them or them running to me crying because someone has said some really messed up junk to them.If we as parents are going to allow our kids to play this game then we must prepare them for what they will hear and encounter.

There are those that will directly take there agressions out on your children strictly because they may have a problem with you but that is the chance we take allowing them to play. I am all for kids playing because simply put they are our next generation of pilots to take our place. The earlier we start them the better they will be granted the squeker level will be a tad higher but they are our pride and joy.

Some of my funnest fights have been with Saskid = S = , dextur and Axer!! I can't forget Trinity3 either.Young as they may be these are some skilled players within the game.I hold no prejudice toward any kid playing and I make it a point to try and answer most of the questions they may ask because I think back to 3 years ago when I started playing and had a ton of questions to ask myself. This reply is not to take any side but only to state my experiences within the game with my kids.

Some kids truley act like kids and when they are shot down go into a rant and just flat out lose it but in the same breathe so do some of the grown ups here. I trained my sons to respect evryone they fly with and against and if something doesn't go their way up another plane and have at it again. There is all ways another plane to up so no need to have a melt down over a barfed sortie. It took me a while also to see that because I to was guilty in the past of flipping out but just through simple fun and the comrodery of gameplay with good guys. I learned to see what the game was meant to be.

Apologies for this wall of text but this was one that hit close to home for me...Hey at least I tried to make paragraphs hehehehe  = S =  you scirvey *&^%$$#

Thank  You

mostly because alot of the kids fly with no honor, they get shot down and let their anger consume them, they take the game too seriously, and don't know how to fly, they go up in spitfires and try to HO, if they would fly with honor, learn to salute those who they get shot by instead of having a vendetta, fly some decent fights, and take orders...all would be well....

but notice what i said at the start, MOST of the kids, i know some good pilots who are only about 10 11 years old, if they can fly without letting anger get to them, or look for the easy HO kill, i can respect them as a fellow pilot, if they can't, i can't give them any respect.

Give me 1 arena,

just 1 like old times,

and i think a lot of old ways would return although quite a bit of damage to AH culture permanently bruised.

LMAO get yer minds right and stop treating the children who play this game the way you do.

Anyone who posted negative to this thread is prolly one of the guilty parties i have described.

I bet ol Silat and Nikora check what they type from now on...anyone care to wager on that 1???

P.S. I feel so special knowing that a certain few of you follow me around these boards to check what i am typing and to contradict it, glad to see i am taking up some of the time in yer day.:aok

Question is, would that be a good thing, or a bad thing?

Nice of you to return to finally return to this thread, after someone bumped it.  I'd thought you'd ran out scared.

As for your bet, I'll wager that Silat will continue to act as he has in the past, mainly because there has never been, in any way shape or form, a problem with that.  Including your little "incident." (You know, the one were Lew wasn't doing anything wrong, yet somehow took the bulk of your anger).

I can't bet on Nikora though, as I don't know him well enough.

By the way - the "it's a persona" schpeel might work for SkyRock.  It just doesn't work for you.  It takes a personality :aok

sweet2th is a master troller to be sure.

It is a little disturbing that in one post he claims to have a kid, in other posts he says he is a kid.  Seems like he is now running around the arena trying to set up people, and coming to the BB with his evidence.  Then hinting/trying to persuade us that the HT staff is taking actions against these people because of his efforts.  Thats what I get out of all this.

The "Game" is static.  It is a flight sim, a computer code.  Game play is what you take out of it, and put into it, the "game" doesn't change.

If gameplay is going downhill, look inward, not at the game itself.

For example, I personally enjoy the game more now than I ever have.  Same game, different perspective.  If several people interpret a static environment in several different ways, it's not the environment, it's the interpretation.

If you are looking for someone else to define the game for you, then deal with what "they" create, and get over it.  If you allow someone else to dictate the game for you then you simply have no say in the results.  Create the game you want to play or accept what is created for you.

You can create the game play as you want.  It's so easy to do, and so simple to figure out, one can only make the assumption that posts like this are for no other reason that to generate attention, because clearly, solving the Gaming Issues cannot possibly occur on a forum, that can only occur in the game itself.

It's really rather simple. So what's this about?

It was basically Silat being Silat (you know, this is the guy who's claim to fame is flying around in a pink tootoo ;) ), with the other guy Sweet tooth mentioned being out of line.

I could understand his anger at the other guy from the screenshot, but when he started going in about "trainer this and trainer that," it ruined any credibility his case had IMO.

If a squeaker thinks he's so mature that he can talk crape to the adults, then they shouldn't get upset when the adults respond in kind.

This excuse about them being only kids is total BS.

The AH community is not responsible for babysitting other peoples children.

Age is absolutely irrelevant.  Betty has it right, this is the internet, you need to monitor what your child is doing.  You can't wait until an incident has happened before taking action.  You also can't expect the community to be mature, again, it's the internet.

What roc said, in spades!

I've seen silat make some slightly off color comments, but nothing that would make an 8 yr old blush. Make an 8 yr old go "Huh, whats the ?" but not blush. What he was trying to do, as he usually does so very well, was defuse the situation.  And for this your blaming him?

This can ONLY be because you have something against silat.

If you really had a leg to stand on, you'd of gone straight to HT with this.
They'd of checked the logs, and if Silat had been in the wrong he'd of been dealt with, quickly, quietly.

But you knew that wasn't going to work.

So you brought it here instead.

All I can say mr hunglo & all your various shades is best not be letting me catch you in the TA until I cool off.
