Recently I had this issue pop up where many textures that should not be transparent are. I don't know if it was after a driver or game update as I have been playing this game off and on and I could swear I’ve played it without issue since I upgraded my graphics card. I know it’s a recent thing. I did recently update my graphics from two EVGA GTX 680 FTW 4gb cards in SLI to a single EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hydro Copper Gaming. Whole system was already on water and still running the same overclocks on memory and CPU, new card is still at stock clocks. all my stuff is up to date and I play a wide range of stuff from this to DCS, battlefield, call of duty, GTA and many more without issue.
My troubleshooting so far has been to reset all settings to default in game and in nVidea. Reinstall drivers, restart computer. Cleaned up old registry stuff to kill redundant or unused old processes. This is the only program that I am having a problem with.
The screenshots are in offline practice but its the exact same in the arenas.
May try to reinstall AH.

Are you running dx9 or 11 version?
-
neither, I'm running 12.

neither, I'm running 12.
Aces high has 2 version, 9 and 11. In the AH first screen in it's title bar it will tell you which one.

oh for the game I am running 11.
After you asked that I went and tried the DX 9 version.
This issue is not present if I launch with AH9 though there seems to be more aliasing than the dx 11 version.

YOu may wish to check for the latest video drivers.

I am running the latest drivers.
445.75 WHQL
released 3/23/20
I suspect the last driver update is what broke AH but I don't recall whether or not this happened before or after I updated. drivers.
Maybe ill roll em back and see.
how far to roll though?
( im going back one driver, will see what happens)

Tried drivers from the most recent 445.75 through 442.74, 442.59, 442.50 all are a no go with aceshigh11.
Guess ill just play with the DX9 version until 11 is made compatible with the new RTX cards and DX 12. This must have broken when I made the jump up to the newest card.

This looks like a z buffer issue.
Just as a check please use default settings in graphic detail. And for a test turn off post proccessing.
What resolution are you running?
Did you adjust anything in the NVIDIA control panel?

I set settings to default, no effect. I deleted the profile in nvidea, no effect. I remade the profile in nvidea and set all things to off, no effect.
im running at 1920x1080

new drivers released today: 445.87
fixed the issue, all settings max in nvidea and game looking pretty good. must have been something with the driver of this series rendering those types of textures.
added pic of the config I set, default works fine too.
