Title: We plan on V3.0 today.

Waiting on some hardware to do a small upgrade to our download server, after which, or even if not we plan on releasing v3.0.
As of this writing these are the issues that have been addressed for this patch.

Also we will be moving the Melee arena voice port upon release to see if port 5000 is the issue for some players.
AHII Late will remain for the week end, and will be closed on Monday.

1. Fixed a bug where sound devices required a restart to take effect.

2. Fixed an issue with cloud shadows flickering or fading out.

3. Vehicles can no longer be seen out side of ground vis range.

5. The voice transmit game id can now be moved like other GUI options.

6. Fixed a high speed engine cut out with some planes.

7. Increased the min size of hit sprites and made the slightly longer.

8. Fixed The banana plant so it would not stop vehicles.

9. Fixed the other peoples jet stop sound.

10. The mouse  should now remain active if the Supply button is shown.

11. Vset will now take 0x hex values for integer variables, this fixes the upload settings to host issue.

12. Fixed an issue with achievements not being scored correctly for those that required successful landings.

13. Flashing icons now invert colors instead of flashing red.

14. VR & TIR zero head position is now adjusted by the saved (F10) position.
    To adjust the head position simply move your head with VR and press F10 to save it.
   This should work with all views.

   To default the head position remove your head set (DK2 this will not work)  press home and then F1.

15. There is now a disable mode switch message option in the "Map Controls" dialog.

16. Added some debugging traps to try isolate a CTD issue.

17. Fixed an issue with the DX11 clip board not lighting correctly on the title screen.

18. Lowered a hut that was above ground in the Tank Town object.

19. Possibly fixed the issue with wide screens (more then 3k) could not move windows all the way to the right. 
    This needs to be tested.

20. If stick settings and mappings are now separated in VR and none VR mappings. On first entry to VR it will copy any non VR settings to the VR settings.

21. Added a open port failure message if the voice port could not be opened.

22. Added small air field to the map set.

23. Film view full screen mode is now operational



Modified for 3.0 instead of 1.0.

Please, make bases next to strats uncapturable.  It takes a very small effort (sometimes singular player) to capture one and enable an entire country to be griefed for days  :bhead

Let's not have the same arguments over who needs to defend or play the game the way another wants them to.   Please  :confused:

I downloaded the new patch, and now get an error that it failed to initialize.  Trying to get a screen shot because when it pops up, can not select the ok button.... will post more shortly

Here is the error code.

Initialization failed with -9 mainWLD_FAILED -1


Update:  Restarted my computer, then reinstalled the patch, and now working...

That usually means the executable is no longer running where the game was installed.  Normally due to accidentally dragging the executable out of the folder when trying to create a shortcut.

That is a guess.  Easily corrected by installing the full version over the top of the existing one.

I hope they announce the time it will shut down. I'd like to be flying when it happens.

It would be super cool if the game morphed from 2 to 3 but that's not possible I'm sure.
