Yes. Please read the log files and see that Jousts made a disrespectful comment when I announced Betty's passing on ch200....and to this day, he refuses to make it right.
Betty was a friend of mine and I will not stand by idly while someone disrespects her passing.
This post by Caine is only because I reported him cheating and now he is pissed. He has nothing to do with this conversation between Lazer and I.

Not sure about hostile. I got the feeling everybody got a little more thin skinned. Even jokes that would be obvious to most end up with some butthurt it seems.

I'd be actually pleased to meet someone threatening to kill or beat me to pulp, as since I finished my active career, there's been too little exercise. In the past, I few times deliberately went to a place where I knew my foe was at the moment. Never got beaten or even killed... :D
There are now 2 topics, where threats and dark web has been mentioned, so it leaves very little questions about personality of that mighty avenger. I know he doesn't like me either, so I keep local kickbox club reservation on. We can go there to discuss, if he ever comes around here. :ahand

Using the internet to “intimidate” or threaten someone is a felony in US Law on two levels. The threat of bodily harm and the use of internet. Depending on context.
Felony Intimidation is defined as “If you do this to upset me I will cause you or your family physical harm”, internet or not.
Same thing with defamation, depending on state law.
I.E. Knowingly falsely claiming someone is a Sexual Predator in public view is a crime. Online Defamation.
To show up can trigger several charges, most felonies.

Criminal Trespass
Felony Intimidation
Use of the Internet to commit Stalking
Use of the Internet to commit Felony Intimidation
Causing of physical harm
Some states, Crossing state lines (interstate) to commit a crime
Internet includes games and forums.
They are going to jail and it will be very costly.
In some states, If you strike them first you may be open to charges as well.
Depends on fed and state laws, arresting officer and prosecutor.
Laws have changed. Its not 10-20 yrs ago. Be careful how you use the internet. Online game is internet and included.
Even the owner of the source can come under fire for suits, especially in a death . This is where Mods come into play. No mods can open legal doors.

The psy-op game goes really hard these days. Even I would like to think I'm emotionally immune to the watermelon said on 200 and then I'll Crack and go off on someone who at the very least will come to understand how I really feel about them. I think this little thread is a good reminder that trolling can only go so far before you run into that Troll in-gane and you wipe them. Got a lot of yappers trying to stay relevant but the only thing that matters are those who produce. So odd.....up here in Canada, we didnt grow up with guns. We grew up using our fists. You can sure tell who is from the USA by the replies with references to firearms.

Regardless, if he's here to stir the pot, then we use him for the spoon. Not sure what POTW means. We all know how this works over the last 30-35 yrs. If he's going to crap on us on our dime then he takes what he earned. Used car salesman sell lemon cars with a smile too.

Never seen someone quit so quickly. Literally the shortest and most lopsided duel set I've ever had.
He went back on 200 and claimed the DA was for losers who have no life.

You are unreal. I went into match play with you and you beat me 2 out of three. I then said “you won”. You wanted to continue but I didn’t. You then proceed back to ch200 to spew more hate towards me.
You see… I don’t identify myself by my level of dog fighting skill in an online WWII combat flight sim. This is a hobby of mine. I don’t feel the need to berate anyone that isn’t “as” good as me….because I’m smart enough to realize that there will be many different levels of skill in the arena and it’s actually required, if I want to enjoy the simulation. No good having everyone as wonderful as you or Master Lazer. Seem the two of you derive some enjoyment out of telling others they suck. Well you two can say what you want about me…24 years in this hobby and I’ve seen your type before. Shallow little men, that have no real life achievements….are forced to identify by an outdated flight sim. Sad actually.
Just a FYI…you and types like you…in the future will just be ignored/squelched. Told Hitech he made a mistake letting you back, and as everyone can see…all you offer is this bragging/negativity crap.
When I first challenged you to a fight…I asked for WWI plane set. You cowered away. You wanted no part of that. So….you are NOT all that. Yea…you may have fighters in WWII figured out…but your scared to fight me at the planes I have figured out.

And for the record I never went back on ch200 denouncing the the DA/Match Play arena. Why would I do that? I like the DA/Marchplay arena. I invited you there.

I witnessed those exchanges and your sewer was running full stream with the "I don't make threats, I make promises" and the name calling (pzzzy) and whatnot. Frankly, I'm not sure why you keep trying to play the victim card or trying to put yourself above the sludge because you're drowning in it too. I'd follow your own advice and start leaning on that squelch/ignore button as it's a nice flotation device and it keeps you from having to identify/define yourself in an "outdated flight sim" as you say. Like you said, this is your hobby and a hobby shouldn't give yourself and others such consternation.

I stopped goofing around on 200 as much because people would get angry and butthurt. Back in the day I found 200 interesting and liked to blab there when I was climbing out for a fight but I guess these days it's the trash talking channel?

Nah, it was about 0100 in the morning on a Saturday (I think), so probably rougher than normal.....lots of drankin'. There was plenty of enjoyable banter but there were a couple fellas going too far with stuff after getting too mad and butt hurt.
The usual. Nothing has changed since AOL daze.
