huh muppets dont bite, there nice biengs that congregate around "C-o-m-p-u-t-e-rs" and play an online game called aces high, these biengs are non agreesive yet lack remorse, they are cute and fuzzy and like to be petteted by the female of the species! thier bantar is a mix of several languages but is audible and percievable, all in all muppets are your friend!

I'm curious about the "not be a total basket case" requisite, and Skyrock. Is that requirement just for laughs, or are you unable to accurately determine who is and who isn't a basket case?
If it weren't for him being a total basket case, I could probably recommend several more BKs for transfer, instead of just the rejects. If you're simply unable to determine who's really mental, I can definitely send you a few more. :)

Hub, we don't care how much our members banter other players as long as they get along with other Muppets. You might be surprised how differently you would be treated once you got the Official Voss Seal of Approval. We don't care how good you are, if you create conflict within the squad, Fester will boot you.
So to answer your question, a total basket case is someone who can not get along within the squad itself.
Muppets just want to have fun.:D
P.S. We are now happy with the numbers we have at this time, Fester does not want a big squad.

How many of you have ever really tried to get to know Van? I have spent a few hours talking with him and he seems alright to me. He is very eager to learn even after all the hardship we had given him. All the Muppets have offered to work with, and have accepted him and he has the potential of being one of the best Furballers in AH. If he chooses to leave in the future, that is between him and us.

Vans can be a nice guy, although he can be a cocky little bastage at times. i'm sure that if he ditches his rank ambitions and really gives furballing a go, he could turn out very well.
i am dubious about his attitude though, especially with the muppets. no offence muppets, but i've seen quite a few in your ranks become worse people after joining. i don't mean that to be any way derogitory, and it's only a few, but there are certain members who have developed a cocky attitude that really doesn't become them.
a lot of great fun guys who have become quite high and mighty now that they have joined the 'elite' squad. mad pilot skillz alone don't make an ace. an 'ace' is nothing without a degree of humility and respect.
good luck guys, and vans, you should have fun, but i just wanted to point out that you could stand to lose the attitude that you and skyrock displayed at frikoth. you are both great fun guys, and excellent players, that kind of crud just degrades you.
PS vanscrew, if you're ready to ditch your cherry picking rank stuff :p i'd be quite happy to teach you some slow speed ACM and reversals, it's something that i always kill you with, and an area that you could improve a bit.

Edit. Don't get me wrong I love muppets, Ive learned so much from dueling them and their all mostly all amazing sticks probably some of the best in the game that anyone can learn from!

I might lead you to understand that your assessment of what you percieve, might just be an arrogant assessment as well. Something you might want to think about. It is very easy to point out the flaws in others, the trick is seeing them in yourself. I am a believer in this as I place myself out in the fire many times with my personna ingame. It is only then that one finds real humility, humility unchecked with confidence is hollow and worthless humility.
Humility- a state of being humble.
Humble- modest or meek in spirit; not proud or assertive.
Biggles, I know your an alright fella, just don't get all Muppets on us with your assessments!!!!!

i know it's an unfair generalisation. i'm really only talking about a few guys.
you would be one of them. you're a great guy, but your fake persona ingame, while once funny, is now outright cocky and kinda rude. you and vans were outright taking the piss outta some of the young kids at koth. i remember when i was once just like them, and i know vanscrew was, so i don't see why you need to insult them, when you could help them and teach them how it all works.
as for the ones who have turned cocky, or become worse since joining, because of exerting their 'i'm better than all of you, therefore i'm going to take the piss out of you' attitude...
lemme just make clear i have nothing against these guys, i actually really like most of em, but their change in attitude disappoints me, they just degrade themselves, they don't need to act cocky at all. they're all good enough to let their flying do the talking...
Dano. nice guy, flown with him loads, but he started getting cocky and whiney once he joined. he started talking a lot of smack. he didn't need to, he was a great pilot, and a fun guy... i dunno why he started doing it...
Platano. an ex squaddie of mine. he's an awesome guy, and i taught him a little when he was new. he's an awesome pilot, and he's learning SO fast, he could be one of the greats. but once he joined you guys, he started imitating what he'd seen in others and getting cocky and arrogant. it doesn't suit him, he's an awesome, fun guy, and he's only started acting like that once he joined you guys (who are a great squad btw, you have some awesome peeps). he's just been led astray by the attitude of some.
you Skyrock. well, there isn't much to say. you started out as a fun guy,a good stick, that loads of people liked and wanted to fly with. now, most people would go as far as saying they really didn't like you. they all acknowledge that you're a great stick, but all are disgruntled by your once funny, but now incredibly arrogant and annoying attitude (because we initially thought you were joking). there's a reason people call you cryrock. you're a nice guy, and i like you as a person dude, but your ingame attitude is just past it mate.
Xargos. sorry xargos, i don't really know you, so it's hard for me to judge, but you do strike me as being a little cocky at times. i don't know you that wel so i can only go on what i feel, sorry mate. i'm sure you're a nice guy like the rest of your squad, perhaps we should fly sometime.
Dolfo. once a good pilot (and still is) but now he's just a cocky smack talker who worries too much about his rank. i don't know him, but he's often quite rude.
Steve. sorry steve, i don't really know you either, but you do come across as quite cocky at times. sorry if this is a bad call, i've hardly ever met you.

now i know that i'm no angel either. i went through a pretty cocky phase too, and it took a lot of people telling me about it for me to change it. i'm just trying to help you guys out by pointing out some things. these are all just my personal opinions of course, but they do seem to be shared by the general community i feel.
i don't mean to cause offence guys, just trying to call it as it is. most of your squad, even the guys on that list, i really like. i've flown with many of you over the years and have had loads of fun with you. but recently, there seems to be a collective attitude with some of you, that no one likes one bit.
, hope that helps. i'm purely trying to show you what i feel you guys act like. underneath the cocky toughguy facades there are awesome peeps, unfortunately though, the facade is taking over.

rank doesn't mean squat, sooner you realise that, the better. once you start experimenting and getting down and dirty is where you start to have not only a lot of fun, but you really start learning. if you wanna get good, that's what you gotta do, stop caring about that silly little number, it doesn't do anything.
as long as your ego doesn't need that little number to tell yourself that you're good, then you're free to play and learn as you want. worry about your rank, you'll play timid, and you'll never learn squat.
instead of having that nice shiny number 1 telling you that you're 'the best', you can actually go out there and learn, and truly become the best player out there, not just some dweeb that exploits the game just to get that lil #1
i promise you rank means zero skillwise.
btw, one thing you personally need to work on is how you use your energy advantage. you usually come in with masses of alt and pick people off to get that high rank of yours. that's how i always kill you mate, i use your energy advantage to my advantage. it's so easy to make you overshoot , and then i drag your E down, or kill you with an instant reversal.
you can't learn everything in the DA. it's great for learning duelling techniques, specifically merges and throttle work, but in the MA you need to know how to use your energy. be smarter about the targets you pick, and don't be so hasty. try not to dive right in. you might also need to brush up on your energy tactics ACM's learn to pull a double immelman after you botch a BnZ attack. you usually go up, and i tempt you down, make you lose your E, then chew you up low speed, where you need far more practise.
serious suggestion, if you want to get better: forget about all ranks and stats for a tour or two, starting now. get down and dirty, film your fights, deliberately fight from a disadvantage. learn how to bleed another guy's E, how to reverse etc. do that for a tour or two, and you will know exactly how to counter these defensive moves when you go back to your BnZ stuff. that way you'll be even more assured of a good rank if you still really want to go for it, because you'll know how to counter the moves, and you'll have learned how to fight your way out of sticky situations, instead of running.
good luck man, seriously, look me up when you can and we can practise stuff in the TA (TA is so much better than the DA if you want to learn stuff). this is on the one condition that you STOP worrying about those silly numbers for a while!!! :D

Rank means chit. To even aspire to attain it by manipulating stats PROVES lack of self-worth. Which is the most important aspect a human can have.

No offense taken but....
While i sometimes whine about the HO, I don't recall once talking about my skills as being anything but "OK", even here on the boards, so I'm not sure how I'm cocky. Having been around for several years i have many friends in the game, perhaps my banter with them is misunderstood. Then again, maybe I'm cocky and just too cocky to see it. :D
Additionally, I am assaulted each time I play the game by someone who tells me I'm a no skill (insert insult here). These regular bashings lead me to believe that I have no skill whatsoever and it is entirely by luck that I manage the few kills I muster.
Today's entry was submitted by a teammate, Bipolar. He advised me that I am a no-skill picktard who left his former squad because I am a crybaby.
No matter that I left, completely without pomp or circumstance, because my former squad is largely peopled by selfish scorepotatos with whom I rarely, flew. Somehow, my silent and peaceful departure makes me a crybaby.
While I rarely respond, I did this time and offered to DA Bipolar(he really is, I believe) so he could measure my meager skills himself.
He responded that a pilot named elevenK DA'd me and beat me. When I told him I'd never DA'd elevenK, Bipolar said that it must have been Shawk. When I told him that I never dueled Shawk(to my knowledge) he went off on another tirade of insults about how I lack skills in this game entirely.
I allowed him to dodge my DA invite because I really didn't want to spend any time with such an unpleasant person.
My point is, that I am regularly subjected to these harsh reminders of just how awful I am at this game, so how could I possibly be cocky if I'm so bad?

just some of my 'assessments' started with that, so i also apologised for probably making a bad call, and said it was just my personal opinion that whoever it was appeared cocky to me.
i certainly didn't say that about you, there is no abiguity with my opinions of you, you're just a cocky arse most of the time ingame. you have your moments, and when you do, i really enjoy flying with you, you're a good stick, and appear to be a fun guy, but unfortunately, your ingame persona takes over. your BS you just posted just proves it.
like i said, i actually like all of you guys, even you, but i really hate what all your silly little hardman tough guy ingame personas are developing into. they are salamanders to put it simple.
i enjoy flying with you guys when you aren't acting like that, so i know you can act normal, and be nice guys. why you bother with the silly act is beyond me. you'd get far more respect from the guys online if you didn't act like that.

i remember another rank obsessed squeaker who even went as far as fixing his rank by vulching another account... thankfully he's way past that, and he's becoming an awesome stick and a fun guy to fly with. i'm hoping vanscrew will be the same.

Dolfo. once a good pilot (and still is) but now he's just a cocky smack talker who worries too much about his rank. i don't know him, but he's often quite rude.

I think vans will actually stay as a muppet for awhile. Being in the "uber-squad" and score whoring go hand in hand (not that all muppets score potato, just that a score whoring mentality leads one to join the squad perceived as the best). Maybe being a muppet will make him feel differently about his score and he won't have to score-potato, or he will still score-potato and also be in the uber squad, which would make him super serially cool.
On the bright side, maybe they'll teach him how to fight and there'll be one more person in MA who won't run away from a 1v1, or who will have more of an inclination to duel.
All of this begs the question though... Can anyone join the Muppets? Could I join if I wanted to? What about 64kills?

People mistake provocation for cockyness or arrogance. Just because people get on 200 and call enemies out, doesn't mean they are arrogant. If you actually fly with SkyRock, Dolfo, or any of the other Muppets, including Vans, you would know they are the last one to leave you hangin. I've know Dolfo for a long time, more than most in this game, and I can tell you this, he's no where near cocky, arrogant, or anything else like that.
SkyRock on the other hand, is like that. But intentionally. He does it just to piss off the other guy, to get'em to turn, to go to DA and have a good 1 on 1.. it's all to get to the thin skinned people, those who doesn't understand this concept, to get them to play into his game. And you know what, lol, it works. Many people have been doing this for years, but yet SkyRock is the only one who gets called on it, and odds are its because he's either beat you in DA, clowned you on 200.
Vans, I hope all works out for you. I've told you before squad hoppin was going to get you a bad rep. And now you see how. Stick with these guys, learn, and don't be a salamander lol. Vans is a good kid, just gets bored with squads and goes somewhere else.. I remember someone else doing that back in AW, but I can't remember who it was ;)

A few Muppets where not happy when Van was first accepted to the squad by Fester, but all that has changed. There are a few things he does that some members don't like, such as gaming the game. But we have seen nothing to indicate that he has a second account and we have kept a very close watch on this subject. My impression of him is that he is just a natural which many people, including myself, are just jealous of.

By next tour my ranks going to be in the millions.Score horin is to easy to do.Also it waste of time and effert to keep up with.And i agree with Xargos,i have all alot of kills to only a few deaths and the only way that people can explain it is to say that i cheat.I cant help that people get PO'ed when i kill them,just in this week i have goten several PM's calling me a cheater.That i have an aim bot and what not,i cant change their appions about me,but im hoping by the end of the tour,when my rank will be high,that they will get over the calling me a cheater.
