I plan on takin a pole that the "public" (HTC) can name the top 3/4 plans/tanks you want. I will make a graph and then possibly propose the idea to HTC admin.......
Please put the numver and what plane you want ONLY......PLEASE be realistic..No B29, and please confirm that it was used in WW2.

While polls are neat, they are a bit biased. Only a certain amount of people use the forums, or look at the wishlist, therefore you will not be getting a true and accurate representation of the game playing community.

German pocket battleship with a 2 ship destroyer escort
PBY with a surface search radar in the pilot's instrument panel(12 nautical mile range) and torpedo's.
Merchant ship convoys of about 5-6 ships.
Pocket battleship hunts the CV group. PBY hunts the battleship group and merchant group.
This might make the PT more relevant as well.

(3. XA-26F for jokes, since it had a jet in the back and could reach 435 mph. Think of it as a counterpart to the RV-8, but with 14 .50 cals in it [like some other A-26 variants] :D)
Sorry for being difficult, but aside from the last one, these honestly do represent my opinions at the moment.
EDIT: Also, bear in mind that the people who post here will not be a representative sample of everyone who plays this game. This poll will probably be heavily biased towards those people who enjoy more difficult planes, not those who just want some fast action in the game - that sort of player will probably have a preference towards faster, late-war rides, and perhaps won't have a forums account.

And if those were added and a new poll were done it might look like P-61, SB2C and PBY Catalina. Basically, a poll in the MA will always pick American aircraft. The only non-American aircraft that might win a poll contest are already in the game.

Ju 87G-1 would be a better choice, all it would entail is adding the 37mm gun package to the existing D-3 without having to create a new plane.

A slow early war bomber like one of the following, because EW scenarios need a bomber the fighters can actually catch. Also any one of these could sub for one of the others a lot better than the Boston or Ju 88 could.

That is a tad sudden. If anything, you should let it run for a week. 2 days isn't a whole lot of time. There are likely more people who would put in their choices as well. Some folks don't bother going online during a work week for various reasons, and won't see this until today, kind of thing. As most folks have a Saturday/Sunday off type of schedule, it would probably be best to leave this up during the weekend. Try compiling the data on Monday. You may or may not have more postings, but it would be SLIGHTLY better than what is currently up now.
Just a thought on it.

Just scrolling through the posts those were the 3 I saw more of. I got halfway through the first page and had a top 5 list but by the time I got to the second page I forgot what the other two were.
Just went through out of curiosity and here are the top 5:
1.) He-111 with 17 votes
2.) ki-43 with 12 votes
3.) G4M2 with 11 Votes
4.) Beaufighter with 10 votes
5.) Pe-2 with 7 votes
5.) Yak3 with 7 votes
If everyone wanting some form of a Yak would consolidate on one type of yak, then they would have 10 votes for a new yak (yak3 most popular variant)

Voting for a Yak-3 is nothing like voting for a Yak-1 or Yak-7. You can't pretend that it is the same. You're suggestion is like telling people asking for a Spitfire Mk I or Spitfire Mk V to consolidate on asking for a Spitfire Mk XVI.

I realize this... I apologize for making an assumption. After initial rounds of polling the yak-7 and yak-1 would have been eliminated via HiTech's polling methods and I assumed people would defer to the yak-3.

I think that most people who wanted the Yak-1 or Yak-7 would simple abandon asking for a Yak at that point. Certainly for me that would be the case.

Hey Volton, you'd be suprised what HTC gives 2nd thoughts to. There have been quite a number of additions and game changes that have come directly from Wishlist posts. You never know then the HTC crew may be lurking... :noid

I remember reading in some of the threads, that the HTC staff use to post planes and had people vote in which would get added next. They stopped doing that however, which I can understand. Don't get me wrong, I am hoping that the top 3 planes and tanks are the next to be added as a result of this wishlist poll. More so, I'm hoping it's the top 5. Almost every plane mentioned, would be an awesome addition to AH. Their are the obvious few that wouldn't get added and the B-29 will have to wait. :aok :lol

i havent heard much about anyone wantig a kfz 222 or any stugs or SPs... but ill go with the M18 Hellcat, a towed by jeep 105mm and maybe a churchill or cromwell (crusader would work too but the cromwell was a better tank). add stugs and SPs and scout armored cars after all that. oh and planes... those too
