Greetings,
This Friday In SEA 1, at regular FSO time. I will be hosting and leading an 8th AF style bombing raid mission into Germany on our new Rhinland Terrain. Rhnland is 1:1.3 scale and covers nearly all of Germany. Two British Bases (A1 and A4) have 15,000' Air Spawns. A1's Air Spawns are in a square pattern close to England, while A4's Air Spawns are more spread out over a wider area around the France/Germany.
This will be a BETA frame for an event I would like to start running. As of right now, I'm only looking for bomber pilots. There will be some opposition flown by CM's, the exact number will depend on how many bombers launch but it will be very limited as there will be no escort fighters this mission. As we get closer to Friday, I should have an idea on how many we will need.

I Would like to have as many as possible. I expect it will take about 2+ hours.

As of right now, the plan will be to go as one big group. If we get more than say 20-24 pilots we might split the group and hit two different targets.

Pilots are free to start mission when liquid encouragement takes away all knowledge concerning enemy opposition. Mission wants happy and care free pilots who have no concern for personal welfare.

Nef it was very fun...Really hard to attack those large bomber groups..what a death trap lol. I just wanted to turn back.

Group 1 crossing the Zuiderzee. We had 39 Bomber Formations to start, we attacked targets in the Essen area of the Ruhr Valley.

The terrain team is making modifications to the terrain and we hope to have another running with the new terrain and a full force of Allied and Axis fighters on March 24th.
