I am looking for a GPU to run VR on the Oculus 2.
The GTX 750ti currently being used doesn't have enough umph but any of these on the list below do.
Let's Make A Deal!....a good deal. I'm not willing to dump $300 into a 2013 card just because of a chip shortage.
Anyone with anything out there in the $150 range?

It's highway robbery right now on video cards
It was crypto mining driving up prices way before the chip excuse came around
Unless someone is feeling charitable and basically wants to give you one, you will need to spend much much more than what you are offering

You can pick up a 970 for around that price if someone is selling. I'd check /r/hardwareswap. For example:

Search ebay for completed sold 970 cards...
The lowest one I saw was $175 with most over 200

Thanks for the info Eagler and Spikes! I forgot about crypto-miners. Everything else is working though and the Oculus Quest 2 is impressive. I can only imagine the detail and depth in VR/3D in AH now that I have seen it in other programs. Pretty cool technology and more affordable now. I had seen VR before but not as immersive as this. It likely will make a large difference when it comes to forests and GV'ing. I will find a card but might as well get something ok for the future.
Running a Dell XPS8940 tower so plenty of room for the card.
11th Gen I-5-11400@2.6Ghz (6 cores) (12 Logical Processors)
16GB RAM and a SSD for storage.
WIN 11 works fine with AH
USB-C (3.0) built into the chassis up front and it has 4 USB 2.0 ports (blue tabs).
Built-in 5GHZ WiFi so I can connect with Oculus Air link but only once the GPU requirement is met. That's the only thing missing. I think I could have had a nice upgrade for $150 from Dell. This was back in July when I bought it but was not thinking I'd ever use VR. But, I also didn't expect to retire last June so here I am ....VR ready. I think this will help the game and I won't be bait for everyone anymore. Not sure what everyone will do without Luft bait out there. Got a long list of people I owe....you, kind Sir, Kilroy for sure, Hoagi, Tankman, MaX, OBX....actually the list is endless. I'd better stop <S> Luft

It is working perfectly. Might not be pretty but neither are my stats.
AH VR made me queazy after a few minutes in a NIKI but I was flying with the Oculus controllers.
The best thing is I can now acccess VR games and other things on this PC either by 5GHZ WiFi or a USB-C (USB 3.0) cable.
I can go anywhere in the house and connect to the main machine through Oculus.
Only let down was Sea of Thieves was not VR. I thought it would be. Been hunting gold with my son there.
