Title: Make use of the backup MA (SIM ARENA)

Love the game but...

I hear tales of playing AH1 with rain, fog and the ever debated night....

I also hear how the Hangers used to be down for two hours...

And I seam to remember that calibration took skill...... (don't tell me its your system, if I can do it on dialup from OZ)

I would like a max realism arena and not wanting to try and force this on others, I think it would be a good idea to setup the backup MA with it all

1- Weather
2- Night and Day
3- Proper Norton Calibration
4- Short range icons
5- All later war Planes perked (or not there)
6- On that note separate perks from the MA if possible
7- Heavy buffs (17,24,Lanc) perked (or formations perked if possible)
8- Fuel burn set to 1.0 or 1.5
9- If possible disable triggers in the F3 view
10- Make auto field Ack stronger, more deadly

Give us a taste of AH in simulation mode.....

Variable wind layers, clouds, rain, sleet, snow, fog, NIGHT. I could get into that:aok

Hitech, You added all these goodies to the game. The night is one of the best looking parts in AH2. You really nailed it! Shame to see it be wasted and not used.

Weather could really add to the game also, bumps through the clouds, rain, sleet, snow, fog covered runways.

And to have it in a seperate arena that is already available...wow what an Idea...what are we waiting on?:aok

It was pretty was like flying into a sector of smog. With daylight above the cloud layer.

But before we can get HT to think about this we need more support.

PLEASE!! tell everyone who you think would like this idea and ask them to post their thoughts on the SIM Arena in here.

I would like to see what other people would like in the Sim arena.

But please no NOOKES, B29 ect

Just realistic requests that use what available in AH already.

I think that the changes I asked for originally are all available, with the exception of the Weather.

I expect that HT and the crew did not model it when they made AHII, but I hope I am incorrect

To many people gaming the game right now in the MA.:noid Hitech it would be a great ramp up to TOD. I love the game and the learning curve that is required to become consistent and good at it. But the realism or lack of it needs to be addressed for us Grognards.

If the CT Idea doesn't work out I assume that I could approach the SE Team about using the SEA when its not in use.

Even if it was just for a day or two, to see if it is a good or bad idea.
