I'm currently busy working on a map that I'll use to create Battle of Britain missions on in the near future.  Here's a sneak peak of
London.

If anyone out there who is more adept at using Wiki than I am wants to post
these missions please do.

Thanks,  :salute

As soon as Wantok sees the thread I'm sure he'll hook you up with the Wiki stuff.  Nice job on the missions.  I'll run em as soon as I get a chance. :aok

Done - those three are added to the offline missions list (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/wiki/index.php/Offline_Missions).

Nice work, Stixx!  And I'm definitely looking forward to flying over London...!

Are you sure 2 weeks? It is so populated, I would guess 2 months to attract all those people to be bombed at!

Looks very nice!

By the way, that map would be AMAZING for use in an online arena GV battle (maybe tank club?)!!!

The only problem is (if its like USrangers map) the if some tard brings HE rounds and shoots at any building a couple blocks would be destroyed.  :uhoh

Yeah, that's how the pre-fab city blocks are made.  I couldn't imagine laying down 1000 buildings, along with streets & other odds & ends to counter it though.  For now, that's what we got.

Yeah, that would take a looong time.

RL  has reared its ugly head and I've had to place the construction of this map on hold for the time being.
Hopefully within the next few weeks I'll be able to get back to work on it.  :salute

Sorry about that ink, had to move my hosting plan for the site that contained
the missions, give me a couple of days and I'll repost them here.

Didn't think about that until I saw your post. :(

Hi Stixx,

I tried to download your LW vs RAF mission from AHWiki and I get an "OOPs page not found" message. Is there another site where I can download it?

Cheers,
gusman44

PS Thanks for creating missions  :rock

Sorry about taking forever to get this fixed, moved to free hosting and forgot to transfer those files.
Here they are. Right click each, select save as, make sure you are saving them in your offmiss folder
in your AHII folder in program files, or wherever you have the game saved. They all play on the ndisles
map.

If any wiki gurus happen along would you please update these on the wiki page.

Thanks,

I'm stumped in how to make this work.  I don't have any problems with the zip files, but I'm ignorant on this one.  Any help please?   :salute

Not sure what the problem might be so I've provided step by step instructions.
The files have to be saved in your offmiss folder within your AHII folder on your hard drive.
If you did not select a specific location when you installed the game you will find your AHII folder
on your C disk inside Program Files - HTC
Make sure you save them with the mis extension intact.
Once you've done so open the game and select choose terrain.
Select ndisles from the list.
Now select offline mode.
Once the game boots select offline mission from the menu on the clipboard.
A box will open listing the missions available for that map.
Select the one you want to fly, when you do the right hand box will become populated with plane choices.
Choose your ride and click OK.
Have fun

I have been having problems downloading other missions other then default. I am most likely doing it wrong being i'm computer dumb, but soon enough I'll be back online so its all good. I will probably return about the same time as the squeakers do,,,

Do you really need an e-snips account to download these?  I'd be happy to pop them on my FTP site if this is the case.

No, an esnips account is not required.

Thanks,

None of those links work: they all save as html docs if I right click on them and select save as. If I double click on them I get what looks like code (err coad, 'scuse me HiTech :)) They look like interesting missions: I hope I can get them soon. <S>

Stixx, they are opening up as if you are opening the .mis file with Notepad.  Never seen that before.  Not sure if I already have these, but if I do, I'll put them on my host if you can't get it fixed.

Hi Guys,

I downloaded the new zip files last night, put the .mis files in offmis folder and changed my terrain to ndisles but the missions would not show up. I didn't have much time so I couldn't trouble shoot last night. Any quick solutions come to mind? I'll check it again tonight as I might have done something stupid.

Cheers,

No problems there Stixx.  I had the same issue in the first download.  It was all a bunch of text, but now it's working fine. :aok
