All power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat though.

Sprint,
I found a little info on the Help link from the main HTC web pages.
Checking the Enable Mip Mapping checkbox will reduce the "shimmer" effect that is seen on the terrain when flying at low altitudes. Most people will want to have this option enabled. The Disable Palettized Textures should be checked if you are seeing a black background behind the plane icons.

Turning off Mipmapping in AH video setup will also gain you a few extra frame rates.

I need to turn off my Paletized Textures, as I am running Windows XP and it causes problems with Aces High. However, I CANNOT find where to turn the PT off!
I looked all over the setup area last night, in game, and did not find this PR, or MM choice anywhere.
Can someone tell me PLEASE!!! how to shut off Paletized textures?
Please be as specific as possible.
Thanks in advance.

Start aces high, before going online press video button, set disable palettized textures, start game.

Hmmm..that simple, huh?
I don't recall seeing a Video button, but I'll try it. If you say so, I'm sure it's there.
Thanks,

Are you the same Ack Ack that I drank beer with in Dallas at a old WB convention.
