That looks excellent, with a couple exceptions. You really need to work on the player icon choices or are they trying out to be the new models on the "Price Is Right?". ;)

It's a real screen shot from within AH2. I was trying out an idea with the selection icons, so I scanned in a picture of Nate and I for it. This is a very raw shot of what we're working on. HT saw it, thought it was hilarious and told me to post it. Don't take it seriously. ;)

Pylons.
I have been asking about which A/C are modeled with them and which aren't for awhile. I wonder if this means that A/C that are not carrying ordinace won't have them or if they will be there regardless of loadout.
Interesting that there is a seperate visual for them. There wasn't before. In the hanger anyway. Interesting to me that is. Could be a change of some kind???

What pylons? The word in yellow that says "pylons" has been there forever. Its just indicating the loadout that would be on the imaginary pylons on the planes. Am I missing something, or are you talking about the word that says pylons?
And also...

i think they should take the Il2 graphics engine and apply it to AH2...that would make for an awsome online game...of course that would mean that some people with older computers wouldn't be able to run it, but hey maybe its time to upgrade that old comp u got:)

that would probably costs tons of money to buy the IL2 engine. And some people can't afford good comps. Not to mention sometimes good graphics can create more lag.

who cares about Il2? the point was to make the next engine as good looking it.
and that's the P51D model we use now.

Yes that was a fun game (alot of floppies) but I always had emm836 and screen freeze problems on my 386/40. Had 32 megs of memory and a math coprocessor. Then I got QEMM and it made it better but still had some screen freezes from time to time. Never got to finish Strike Commander because of that. Then Falcon 3.0 came out and I played and finished that. The cluster bomb in Falcon 3.0 is still my favorite bomb to drop even in 4.0.

Now that I think back, I remember installing games that had come on 20 to 25 sets of floppies. One glitch in the install process and you had to start all over from the start. It was a lesson in patience alright.
