Title: x45 and CH pedals
Post by: bandit752 on May 04, 2006, 10:03:13 AM
I am going to invest in the CH usb rudder pedals. I currently have the x45. Is there any problems with the combo?

Shouldn't be.
I use X-52 with Ch pro peds ... but I am using 10 year old gameport style.
I still think you will have no problem.

Just remember to assign rudder to peds in game.

Yes from the clipboard
setup> controls> joystick> select joystick
Then under AH controls highlight rudder.
Under Joystick highlight your peds.
Joystick input should have z rotation highlighted.

click set input ,apply, and ok.

Then remember to calibrate in game.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Eagler! I will look for the profile!
I am hoping that the pedals, after I learn to use them will improve
my game!!

yes
you should disable the rudder on the twisty stick if you use a profile
that should free up the axis so you can assign it in AH to the peds

JUst make sure you download and use the CH Manager. The only real potential problem is that AH might not recognize the pedals when you re-enter the game....worst case is you'll need to unplug em each time so they are detected...
