Patch 4 has patch 3 notes. Patch failed on stdshapes.res until I rebooted before updating.

my saved view in p-51 i got a gray shadow where the window glass is, move head position gray goes away and scratches show. see pic

patch 3 i got a flashing square at altocirrus clouds and some flashing of low cumulus and shadows. se pic

Yeah,your head can lean beyond the canopy! Its been like that for a while. Only the Pony though, well now lol. Had a lot of stuff to debug, but they getting there slow but sure

While flying B17's earlier today in F3 external view mode I noticed skins on planes changing randomly. Not sure about other planes / bombers...will try to make note to check later.

I logged on and it appeared the the entire game downloaded (1382 meg). Started game and it installed patch 3. Started again and patch 4 installed. Was this how it was supposed to go? I was up to date om PRAH3 until today.

I had damage to my gv and someone put out a box of supps. My turret stopped working, nor could I type in the text box. Once
I picked up the box of supps, everything returned to normal.

Also, when GV'ing, the planes overhead are really really loud. So loud you cannot hear enemy GV's.
Even distant airplanes at  3 k  away are really loud.

Game lockup and had to ctrl_alt-del to get task manager. When reentered the arena back into my P51, trackir was not active. Had to restart TR and game.

Looks terrible in the new download. Flew one time with water same as sky. Not flyable.

I'll wait for next patch. Next week gone on vacation so maybe it will get fixed before I get back.

Awful bug.  Someone turned on pennants.  Just when we finally got a good tank map working, the doggone pennant thing ended it.  please, please do not do that again.

Two squad mates experienced ditching in the ocean when they were 1000yds from the CV and below 1000ft while fly auto level.

The CV hanger appears to have a smaller FOV than the CV tower making it crowded and the clipboard too close.

what's the pennant thing?

Instead of using troops to capture a field you can use a 262 to pick up the flag and carry back to your base.  Knock down the ack strat so guns are down for a long time when numbers are down then rape the other countries during prime time.  Pretty much sucks.

Downloaded and tried dx11,  crashed as soon as I hit the spawn to the runway.  Have had constant issues of dx11 locking up,  and having to close the game in processes to get out.

Dx9 is working fine for me though.

Still cannot see the transmitting player ID in VR (cv1). If this was part of the fix in patch 4, it didn't work.

The "R" indicating film recording is located straight up in my VR view and I can't move it like the other text windows.

somehow last night I was awarded Vulcan's kill. I hadn't fired a shot yet the whole sortie and Vulcan clearly made the kill and was still alive and I was awarded the kill. I was just nearby.

AcesHighIII does not show up in the tasklist for alt tabbing back into it.  It can only be manually clicked from the taskbar on the desktop.

Open Melee: No Vox, send or receive (including when I tune to myself)

Dueling, AvA, WW1: Can tune to myself and send/receive works (nobody else there to test)

Mic works otherwise (windows config & soundblasterZ software), can hear myself fine.

Slight change from the other day when I posted... Dueling Arena didn't work then, does now (tuned to myself).

When my GV is shut down and I'm listening for GV's heading in my direction......I pan around with my turret and I have noticed that when I finally see the oncoming GV, the sound is off by as much as 30 to 40 degrees. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I checked my sound settings and I have it set to stereo and to headset.

Tested each arena for vox, tuning to myself. No issues.

On WW1 arena in the Hangar the wheels of the vehicles were sunk by several inches into the bottom. The crates looked like that, too, whereas the plane had no weight at all on the grass/moss.

I recommend using a new 'project temp folder' to hold the temporary DAT files so if the TE/Uploader fail you don't accidentally delete the hightmap.htz etc.

Offline on the small, medium, and large airfields I get a consistent 90 FPS on the runway in VR with or without a drone being shot at by ack. On the extra large airfields I get 90 with no drone but if I put one up FPS drops and varies 45-75. Not saying it's a bug but I wanted to mention it.

If I climb up on a hill with my GV and look down at the valley below.......I can Open Graphics settings and turn down the sliders to "Ground Detail Range", "Tree Detail", and "Terrain Detail" all the way to the left to their lowest settings. I leave my
"Object Setting" all the way to the right to it's highest setting...........wait for it.....I am getting to the point   :)

You are able to shoot at enemy GV's 2 to 2.5k away and they appear to be in the wide open spaces. No trees. I can safely shoot them and they cannot shoot back. Why?....because they see the trees and cannot see me nor shoot back through trees. I believe the 3 sliders need to be tied directly with the slider "Object Setting" or there will be allot of players exploiting this feature in graphics settings to their advantage in GV'ing. I have not tried this in the airplanes.....but I'm sure it is a similar situation.

I use my mouse to shoot while in gv. Noticed that if supplies are out mouse control doesn't wirk until supplies disappear

Yes, it's already happening. I suspected as much after being killed by guys I never see and tested it tonight. A guy a good mile and a half away was lobbing shots at me. Graphics on, don't see him, graphics off, there he is, plain as day in a muddy green flat land.

Attacked B-26 bombers who were NOE...When I shot the Icon'ed bomber it was fine...I switched to the right hand drone and took killshooter damage.

Only fighter in the area and as I shot, I got "killshootered".... squad mate came in after me and did same thing...


Attacked him before, and attacked him after this happened (different sorties) and it was normal normal....

Its on my stream 1:47:06..:)

I went over the water to see what everybody was talking about so I dove from 2k and went right into the water, couldnt tell how high I as as in ah2.

second time I looked at my altimeter and almost went into the water I pulled up at like 2 feet.

3rd time I pulled up at 100 feet.

moral of the story look at the altimeter or you will really go into the water.

Yes, but I really can't tell by how much the sound is off. Probably more but maybe less. Someone said usb headsets weren't as good as analog. I hope that's not it because I couldn't give up my wireless usb headset!

Analog or digital is not where the difference lies. Get a good Sound Blaster (Z, Zx, ZxR), or high end X-Fi with 3D position processing if you want to hear where the enemy is with precision. You're going to want that anyway once a good sound pack comes out for AH3.

Analog or digital is not where the difference lies. Get a good Sound Blaster (Z, Zx, ZxR), or high end X-Fi with 3D position processing if you want to hear where the enemy is with precision. You're going to want that anyway once a good sound pack comes out for AH3.

I just happen to have a sound card laying around that is not being used......I'll give it a try. I'll make sure it is high end X-Fi.

1.     I believe this has been mentioned before, but I thought I would mention it again.  When using the mouse to turn you turret, that ability ceases to work when there are vehicle supplies laying on the ground.  You have to eat them all up before the mouse control returns.

2.     At this location, I was unable to free myself from being stuck to a tree:  -348553,180,52311,-8.8,-3.3,-51.1

At times, I've been able to get off the object by pressing the forward or backward key + the right or left key at the same time and holding them down.  This didn't work.  Did I miss the command to help unstick your vehicle to an object or was I doing the correct thing?
