Title: Light bombs falling in water got blast effect like on ground
Post by: Lucifer on July 27, 2014, 07:38:52 PM
... And blow LVTs off at 75 m, even armored ones !

Blast in water has nothing like ground ones (when bmbs explodes !)

Plz teach program to separate Ground/water bomb effects.

I also noticed that they kill LVTs even when bombs dropped UNDER the detonate alt !

Problem here...

Do you think pressure waves in water are more or less destructive then in air?

Bomb fusing is distance traveled not the altitude dropped from.

Im talking about 125k bombs dropped by a plane coming in FRONT of me dropping hyper close from LVT, at less than 150 feets and falling 75 off the armored LVT.

No way they should explode and ofc blow an armored LVT4 75 m away.

That's not true.  The fuses would detonate the bomb and the pressure from the blast would have a devastating effect on an LVT (in real life).

Was the plane's icon showing 150? Distance is shown in yards. Bombs need to travel 1000 feet to arm; 150 yards is 450 feet, and given the plane's speed, he can be well under 1000 feet altitude and still give the bomb enough distance to arm.

You also want to keep in mind that the impact point and positions on the shooter's PC are the ones that count.
