What if someone spawns on the runway after you spawn and are sitting there?
If both are spawning (after each other), they're friendlies, and don't collide. If the field did change sides between the two planes spawning, the first one is dead by the ack that rebuilds on capture.
There can be the case of an enemy plane landing at a deacked field. This usually only happens when someone is out of fuel, and in that case usually cannot taxi to the spawn point. Also, such fields are vulched, and no-one ups. So it doesn't really matter what happens.
Of course there's the secret gamey tactic to kill the VH, deack the field, and then land one plane on each of the spawpoints. Has this ever been attempted?

It was rhetorical to illustrate why vehicle spawning would be no different. ;)

The issues are due to speed verses delays due to lag.
With planes, they are traveling at 200+ MPH with a warp due to lag it is just an instant and can be accounted for and ignored. In a GV however, GV move at much slower speeds and a warp due to lag will cause a GV to hang INSIDE an enemy GV far longer. So a warp could cause a collision.... nobodies fault yet someone would have to pay.
As it is, it is rare that you get a GV any where close to you.

If a m8 runs into a tiger. Do they both come to a complete stop just like if they run into a lemon tree?
