For the Veterans I know and the ones I do not know.
Welcome my Band of Brothers
Brother, life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who don't, just because you can. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands -those of you who served in Korea, Viet Nam, Persian Gulf, Iraq, and Afghanistan know this. If it changes your life, let it. Take a few minutes to think before you act when you're mad. Forgive quickly. God never said life would be easy, he just promised it would be worth it. Today is Band of Brothers' Day; send this to all your brothers, fathers, sons and fellow veterans you know. Happy Brothers' Day! To the cool men that have touched my life; here's to you!!! I was never a hero, but I am thankful I served among them. A real Brother walks with you when the rest of the world walks on you. :salute

btw I got my name after my brother who was a better marine than I ever was. he went home a few years back so I kept his name as he loved playing air warrior. I got another brother who was also a marine plus my father who was a marine as he was drafted. his body still alive but he died in Vietnam many years ago.
my nephew just just went to the air force, he's on his 3rd week of boot camp. both my daughter and youngest son want to join the marines. I love my country and I love the corps but I told them I would personally kick their butts if they joined. I would tell you why but then i would get banned.
semper fi to all who have and will serve.
