Title: 8th AAF "The Mighty 8th" {Recruiting}

The 8th AAF is recruiting qualified individuals to join our ranks....

     All we ask is that you are mature (well as far as gamers go), have VoX ability, don't mind doing a little of everything in the game (we do a lot of Bombing but not all the time), you know how to have fun and that your are willing to work with the Squad as a team. Currently we are with the Rooks though most of us have spent our time as Knights so being open to moving back and forth once in awhile is needed. We do like our members to have "8th" in front of their names but its not required as we do understand some of the more veteran people have A LOT of Perk Points built up and don't want to lose them( :neener: DMZ).

     We are a newer Squad but have some very experienced members as well as noobs too. We are currently doing our Squad nights on Saturdays and try to do at least one practice a month. We don't require a lot of time from you just that you are not a stranger (some of us do have lives and jobs etc.  :bhead). Our main goal is just having a good time and not take things to seriously, of course stay drama free unlike some squadrons around here  :rofl. The CO doesn't rule with a Iron Fist in other words :furious

To anybody looking for a squad, 9th is a great dude to have on your side. I spent a while as his squaddie and he will not disappoint. :cheers:

If anyone is interested in joining we are still in need of more members. We have a good group of guys right now that are a lot of fun to play with and always willing to listen to advice or give advice in any facet of the game. If this sounds like something you would like to be apart of hit us up in the LWA. We are currently on the Rook side though discussion about move back to the Knights for a couple of months have started.

As of yesterday evening we have officially moved back to the Knights country for the foreseeable future. Its good to be back home with all the good people of Knitland.

I have done some updates to the Website hope everyone likes it I haven't gotten much feedback on here.

We are still looking for some good quality new members so please inquire to some of the previously stated members or any of us for that matter.

Name change is not REQUIRED for anyone I always ask and try to get people to but its not a deal breaker if someone doesn't want to I understand its completely optional since it can be hard to build up points in some areas I don't make people change it. Its just a fun way of showing off the squad in a different way. Also its not required to give people a chance to join and play along for a bit and see if our group of people is a good fit for them then if they decide they want to change it down the road that option is there but its always up to the individual after all its your money who am I to require you to change your name some people put a lot of thought into their name and I get that.

The offline missions were pretty great 8thBuff, I know i had fun shooting plummer down leading those 17's....

It will definitely help us out in a few aspects; fighter wingman tactics as well as bomber attacking/defending. Thanks for putting in the time to create these Buff!   :salute

Just trying to do what I can to help us all out and become better pilots and contribute to the overall quality of being in the Squad and also our performance AS A Squad.  There will be more to come as I get some more ideas on my own and from you guys in the squad as well. Don't worry ill put some more 47M's in there for you KB  :bolt:

8thAAF has had a busy week picking up 4 new recruits, Welcome Aboard Mongo, n00fer, Sandy and BombFox. Glad to see us getting some good numbers on now look forward to working with all of you.

Hey Buff, those screenshots from our flight of 17's to the strats may be no good... I still have the dang chat window showing in them...  How do you remove that for screenshots?

I will try to send them tonight for review.

With such a growing squad buff, how do you intend on keeping all the YA-WHO's in line? Cat-herding comes to mind..... :D
