Flown by Capt John B England, 362FS. Capt England's second P-51 was transferred to the 357th FG in March 1944. Delivered in standard factory Olive Drab/Neutral Gray finish, this aircraft was stripped down from its original paint on fuselage sides and undersides, then painted with 357th FG nose and spinner pattern, full D-Day stripes and field-fitted with Malcom hood canopy.
"U've Had It!" also took part in summer shuttle missions to Poltava air bases in the USSR with RAF exchange pilot Flt/Lt Eric Wooley at the controls.
Prior to being passed on to another pilot, it served well to claim 2.5 of England's finaly tally of 17.5 victories.
The 357th was nicknamed The Yoxford Boys after a village near their base in the UK (RAF Leiston). The Group's victory totals in air-to-air combat were the most of any P-51 group in the Eighth Air Force and third among all groups fighting in Europe.
England finished the War as the second-ranking ace of the 357th. He stayed on active USAF service after the War ended and claimed a MiG-15 kill during the Korean War.

The last of 3 P-51Bs I'd completed long time ago, before the number of slots were expanded. They didn't require many changes to the diffuse map but I did create new Normal, Spec, Power and Environment maps.

Nice skin and an interesting story to go with it. I think it could do with a screenshot showing the upper surfaces to show off the scheme better.

Agree with Greebo. The screenshot of this one you posted long ago was great.
This is a nice one. Well done.

Fantastic. This is my favorite Bravo Pony scheme and you did it amazingly.

Right on! It's a perfect shot. Nicely done skin, too.
Are you using Normal Mapping for the waves and rivet indents in the metal under the cockpit or is that shading? It's a good effect.

Fantastic work, oboe. I usually fly RAF Bravo's, but this one may replace it.

Absolutely Amazing! Great work!
