VF-17 in flight over the Solomon Sea. Flight No. One (Lt. Cmdr. Branch37, lead) Lt. BFOOT1 (His right wing), Lt. Guth aka Arlo(his left wing), and Ens. RayL his far left wing. Flight No. Two off of Lt. BFOOT's wing, Lt. Hyzer (lead), and Ens. Rapier (His right wing). Dated October 28, 1943.

Lt. BFOOT1 locked in aerial combat against a Japanese Ki84. Note the rudder is missing. Dated: October 28, 1943.

Scratch two for Lt. BFOOT1, as he destroys a Ki-61.

Lt. BFOOT1 is lucky to make it back, while Lt. Hyzer had to make a wheels up landing in the background. Dated: October 28, 1943.

Ki-61s engaging some more B-24s in this frame. That's not all that happened, we ran into a lot of fighters low over Rabual, dodged a lot, landed while some others tried to vulch, tangled with some late frame B-25s, but in this one I've just cut it down to the B-24 section. Posting this in a few related threads.

If nothing else we looked the part. 80th FS headed for Rabaul. Not sure what went wrong, but I survived both flights and got a couple kills. The Axis is slipping a bit :)

Maybe pasting in between the [youtube] tags, something other than what you get from youtube menu "copy video url"? Not sure other than I don't see anything.

Interesting.. I saw the video and played it using MS Edge.
I do NOT see the video when I use Firefox.

My view of frame 4 was a lot less action filled (until the end) and... let's just forget that hill event ever happened.

My edited version of us dodging fighters for a long while then finding some bombers to attack. Note that some ki-61s actually had some nice action and some cool fighter-v-fighter kills. Not me! I could never get anywhere in time are only got my guns on one P-38 who intentially flew in my sights to set me up for his pal (didn't work, but I didn't get him either). In the end I did get some hits on the bombers.

The scenario is now finished. I must say that whatever your feelings about the nature of the setup, I was quite pleased with the amount of youtube footage people were putting up for us to watch. I love that. Screenshots are nice, but some good video clips really makes it so much better!

Had a great time in this scenario as a walkon player in frames 2, 3 and 4. Do not have a capture card so no true in game views, sounds and comms. My first video using AH Film Viewer. A lot of graphics related data got lost in recording, converting, compressing and uploading and some anomalies brought in. The recording does not seem to get detailed interior of other player aircraft. I have an old computer so I play with close to minimum graphic settings also only had default plane skins enabled. Fiddled with some settings for Film Viewer footage, also added some filters in places during final editing in Shotcut. Do not know much about editing, so experimented with a lot of stuff. I like to watch old war movies and combat footage so the general idea was to combine gameplay style with old war movie and documentary looking style. I am a bit twitchy with my joystick hat view switch. I switched icons off for some clips. 60 FPS video would be smoother but a lot more difficult to handle for my PC.

Ditto, add a reply to the screenshot thread in the films/screenshots forum. Attach the files. Once posted, right click each link and "copy link location" then post it in your actual body with a IMG tag. I will post with attachments, then edit the post and insert the actual images I've already attached.
Once they are attached in the screenshots forum you can use the IMG tag with that link on any other forum as well.
EDIT: Not sure but I think you might need to be logged in to see them when you do this, but I am anyways so it doesn't affect me.
